Teleporting back into Regbow city is so much fun, seeing all the humans, and how they are so happy, going on with their normal lives.

"There they are." Assane states, pointing down at the crowd of elements down below. I know what they meant now, all of that talk about "sensing" people. It's kind of like a sixth sense, knowing if people have powers or not.

"Okay," I say. "Let's go!" and we jump down, just like how the elementals do. This is gonna be so easy! I think, and I was right, but not for long. Jumping down, Assane creates a large water stream, and I electrified it, the united power energy shocking all look of the evil elementals. I then look around.

"Assane! Where's the element!?" She shrugged, and almost instantly I know it's a trap. I start tapping my belt. One two three... UGH! It's not working... at least I don't think so. Turning around, I hear laughing.

"Ha! Sis, I didn't know you joined to work with them!" He pulls me from behind, and puts his hand over my throat, holding an icicle to it.

"A...sanne!" I gulp, managing my feelings, and no to it'll spreads.

"You've got hero with you... you brought him right to me without knowing it!"

"Marco!" She yells, trying to run over, but another man grabs her.

"Eren. Watch over these two. I'm telling Ray!" He exclaims, and teleports immediately.

"Lucky me. Getting to watch over the hero, right before he dies." He snickers, and punches me in the gut. I groan, and Eren laughs.

"You know, I really hated your father," He explains, walking around. "He stole Sarah from me. We used to date you know!" I think I just barfed in my mouth a little... How could my mom even possibly like a man this cruel? He punches me again.

"Ugh..." I groan, but he laughs. What's with these people and laughing? It's kind of creepy you know. Just then, the best thing ever happens. The elementals appear.

"Aww man..." Eren mumbles, and he fights them, along with some other evil elementals.

"Marco! Assane! Go!" Blake yelled, but just as we were about to run, Vick teleports back, and kicks both of us right in the stomach, sending us through the teleportation hole. We land in the same place I was before. It's the evil elementals' lair.

"Welcome!" Ray yell down to us, and we see him floating up there, in the same place as when I was here. My boots start getting covered in sludge, and Assane seems absolutely fine. From my guesses, she's been in here many times before.

"Let us go, Ray." Assane demands.

"No! Since you traitor betrayed us, you get the same date as him."

"Which is?"

"Death!" His word echoes throughout the place.

"Well then," I promise. "We have to at least put up a fight!" Acting fast, we automatically use our united powers to start off strong. Her wrapping water around him, and me electrifying it, we weaken him, but Ray automatically ways sends an even bigger shadow blast back at us.

"Assane! Do a water lock!" And she follows my call, water locking him in place, freezing him in time. I then shoot lighting into the water lock, electrocuting him. But somehow, he breaks from the water lock, and does something different. Ray mixes the lighting water lock with his shadow energy... creating a three way united powers. Sending this giant energy mass back apt Assane and I, it's huge, and I dodge it easily; looking behind me however, it hit Assane.

"Marco..." She says, her body shaking from the impact.

"Assane!!!" I scream, running towards her. Ray maniacally laughs, as I inspect her wounds. She both has burns from the lighting, and toll from the shadows swarming her body.

"Assane I can't beat him without you!"

"Exactly! You won't!" Ray announces, and I feel hopeless.

"Assane," I look into her eyes. "I need to do the heroes blase!" When I say this, she gives me crazy eyes. At least she heard what I said.

"No!" She coughs. "You can't! You'll kill yourself in the process without having a partner!" Her saying this makes me realism all of it. I'm not going to survive. Both her and I know that Assane probably can't survive in the first place, but me? I'm the so called hero. That's it! You just figured it all out! I tell myself. You are the hero! And then then I decide on it. I will die protecting others.

"Assane. I'm going to do it. I need to. I'm the hero... remember?" She nods, but can't say anything. Only cough.

I then start my chant.

"From the lighting in the sky, this soul, Ray the Shadow Caster, does not fulfill the needs to be an element-"

"W-what are you doing!" He screams.

"anymore. From this power-" I see some movement in the back of my sight, but I continue,

"I declare this soul shall be released. I CLEANSE THEE!" And soon, a barrier of white light surround Ray, and he starts to fall apart, almost shedding like an animal. The animal he truly is. He then screams, and soon the white light surrounds Assane and I too, releasing our souls as well. But... something interfered. Opening my eyes, I'm back in Regbow city... alive. Assane's it's right next to me.

"Marco... I couldn't let you die. I used the rest of my energy to create a water barricade in front of you... but it had a cost."

I remember what I saw before I finished... how there was movement in the back of my eye. I then look at her, and instantly I see what she meant by cost. He skin was completely covered in toll, and she fell to the ground, lifeless almost.

"ASSANE!" I scream, but she didn't answer. All I could think was please don't be devoured, please don't be devoured. I then open my eyes and see Blake picking her up.

"Blake!" I exclaim, and he nods.

"It'll be alright Marco. Assane will be okay." He promises, and he then runs as fast as he can to the temple.

It's been a whole day since the fight, and I still didn't get to see either of them. Blake and Assane have been trapped in and room for hours at a day, Blake trying to burn off the toll.

"DONE!" I hear loud yelling from the room. Running as fast as I can, I get in there.

"Blake? Assane?" I knock before coming in.

"She's right here." Blake says, and I walk over to see Assane safe in the bed.

"Good thing you're alive." I say, hugging her in the bed. She smiles.

"Good thing you're alive also."

All of us gathering in the main room at the temple, the elements gather in a triangle around Assane and I, and begin their chant.

"By the powers of the neon light, the burning fire, and the plant grower, we accept the powers of the lighting and water bearers as member of the elemental... five." When they end, they finally give me a new, not wonky, belt. In the belt, the beautiful symbol of the elementals sits on the buckle.

Before going on my first real mission, I look in the mirror and mumble,

"Goodbye Unknown, hello Elemental."
