Ever since the incident, when I got my powers and Assane finally became a part of us, Assane and I have been working our butts off trying to train to join the elementals. We've been training with Blake everyday, learning new special spells, mind tricks and other fun things from Emma, I'm learning all sorts of history and cool stuff from Finn. Leave one and all sorts of new moves to powers to, and especially with how to lie and get away in tough situations with evil elementals. Today, all three of them we're going to teach you something new that they from running at each other for a very long time.
"Okay, today you're going to be learning about uniting your powers." Emma explained, and we just looked at each other. Of course we asked her to explain.
"Uniting your powers is very simple. Uniting your powers is basically a way to mix your powers together, almost fusing them to create something much more powerful and takes out enemies very quickly." Finn added, and I smiled.
"Yes Finn, and in this case uniting your powers is perfect. You to have to be each other's partners this time, but another time you will have to learn how to unite your powers with some of us. It is almost meant to be. Lightning and water are practically best friends." Blake comments, and I play around with the electricity in my hand. It's so cool, controlling a substance only in your palm.
"Yeah Blake, water is the best conductor for lightning. Some ways that we unite our powers, its house then uses his neon light to grow my twins even quicker than usual. Finn's element is very easy to find and unite with, because his is neon light, and almost anything can mix with light." Emma continues, her and Finn demonstrating by growing a tree right in front of us.
"... Except shadows." Assane says, and Finn nods his head.
"Yes Assane. Kudos for paying attention to your element backgrounds." I give her a high five, and we laugh.
"Now that you two know the jist, let's get to work."
We start by me creating a large electric balls, and her creating large water balls for warm ups. We then try and get more intricate. She starts by creating a giant water ball and then I slowly shoot the water ball with my electricity to make the ball charged. The elements were so surprised when we got it only on our third try. We tried shooting it at dummies to practice, and it was surprisingly easier than we thought it would be. We then tried harder things like making electrically charged two rivers and little streams and shapes of lighting charged water. The elements were extremely surprised, because they've never seen anybody unite their powers together so easily and so beautifully. Assane and I were surprised too, we've never been this comfortable training together, which is kind of funny so that now we can bond our powers together.
"That's a wrap!" Finn exclaims, and Assane and I laugh.
"That was actually pretty fun!" Assane says, resting her head in in my shoulder. We sat inside the temple eating our dinner with the other elements. We spent the whole day outside, so Assane and I were practically starving.
"Hey Marco... Assane..." Emma called, putting all of the dishes away.
"Yes, miss Emma?" Assane responded. Emma sighed.
"Assane, we told you, you don't have to be formal with us."
"Okay." she says, giving Emma her dishes.
"So, anyways... what I was going to say was that all three of us think that it's time you two get to do a mission on your own."
"Aww yes!" I exclaimed, and Blake laughed. "Finally!"
"Yeah kid, you're finally grown up." Finn hums.
"Heh! So cool!" Assane chirps, as I high five her.
~♢~
"So this is what's up," Blake starts to explain, showing us the mission board. "There is basically an element in the same situation to what you were, Assane." As he says this, I can see Assane shudder a little. She isn't fond of remembering her past, now that her life is so good right in the present.
"Mhmm. So are we saving the element? Or are we fighting of other elements?"
"In this mission, you're fighting other elements."
"Aww cool!" I exclaim, and Assane smiles.
"Let's get going Marco!" She then drags me out the door.
"Wait, one more thing," Emma says before giving me a belt. "It's the same one your father had when we'd train together as rookies.
"Whelp, hope you don't die!" Finn yells as I get dragged right through the porch.
Yep. Hope I don't die.
