It snows down heavily, as my heart pounds, and blood is everywhere. I hear screaming as I blink rapidly to get snow out of my eyes.
"D-dad?!" I yell, but all I can hear is the wind howling everywhere. It's hard to run in the snow, for it brings you back down, much like a weight on my shoulders holding me down. Finally moving faster, I bump into something hard, and it pushes me back. Looking up I realize it's my dad, and tears form in his eyes.
"Son... I'm so sorry. Please... Look away..." He mutters, while looking me up and down.
"Dad, what do you-" all of a sudden, an icicle stabs him from behind, taking him by surprise.
"DAD!" I scream, and he starts bleeding, as I try to fix his wound, but fail.
"Marco....m-Marco!" He yells, and I look him in the eyes. "It's okay, this was my fate. Falling to the mighty."
"You can't die! I don't even know what's going on!" I scream, tears trickling down my face.
"Son, Marco, you need to live. Please run!"
"No! I'm not leaving you here! I can't, I won't!"
He then uses all the life he still has, and taps a button on his belt buckle.
"Marco, if you can't run... than I need someone to take you away," after he says this, I scream loudly, and cry into his nearly dead body. "I love you, Marco." He mumbles, and then becomes lifeless. Almost... Peaceful looking. It's funny how people always disagree where people go when they die... Wherever he is, I just hope my father is okay.
Then another man emerges from behind my father.
"Hello child..." His voice is very raspy, and snowflakes hover around him.
"A-are you here to save me sir?" I question, and I hope he isn't, because this man seems creepier by the second.
"Yes child... I am going to free you from all of your sins." He then comes closer to me and I sense something is wrong with this man. What does he mean exactly?
"Sir, you are scaring me sir...," I don't know why I'm being so formal with this man if he is scaring me... I mean seriously.
"You're supposed to be scared child. For I will free you, and then you will not be scared anymore!" As he says the last words, he bring out a sharp icicle, the same kind of one that killed my father, and leans even more into me.
"AHH!" I scream, and try to run, but trip and face plant into the snow. Turning around, I see the man followed me all the way.
"Child, don't worry, I'll count down." I shake as he leans in, him breaking my personal space.
"Three..... Two....."
But just before I was dead meat, I see a bright flash of something, almost.. Kicking him? No, no, no, I was right, another man just kicked him right in the face, launching him meters away.
"Kid let's go." He tells me, then grabs my hand and runs. But it's not any kind of run. Shades of green flash around us as he runs, dragging me along. This man is abnormally fast, and it seems so unfathomable how it was even real. Suddenly, he stops running, and the force hauls me into the snow. I shiver, my body almost collapsing under itself, the cold rushing through me. Who is this man? And why don't I still know what is happening?
