A/N: I SCRAPPED THE WHOLE TRIANGLE THING CHAPTERS AGO. PLUS I WILL DO A FLASHBACK WHAT HAPPENED WITH ELENA AND MARCEL. ESTHER NEEDED ELIJAH FOR PERSONAL GAIN. THIS STORY WILL BE DONE IN ABOUT THREE CHAPTERS, HOPEFULLY!

Chapter 29

Elijah's POV

When I awaken, I found myself surrounded by a ring of fire. I looked around to find my mother sitting on the outside. I groaned, rubbing my neck, feeling the bones pop back in place.

"Feeling alright?" Esther questioned, looking anything, but concerned.

"Why am I here mother?" I said as I got from the floor. I turned to face her, glaring at her. She just smirked, getting up from her seat.

"You are going to be an important role destroying your own family, Elijah." She said, looking back at me.

"The doppelganger is dead. Unless you have a white oak stake, your plans will be futile." I stated.

She laughed. "My sweet boy, I don't mean your siblings. Your children as a matter of fact. I have something entirely different for your own siblings and you." She said with a wide smile.

I growled. "You will never take my children!" I stopped on the edge of the protection circle.

"Not that you would have a say in anything, but you helped me just taking a step in this building. Ms. Marshall as less willingly, but a knock upside the head did the trick perfectly." She turned away. "Isn't that right?"

I saw Hayley in the far corner, guarded by Finn. Hayley just glared daggers at Esther, but kept otherwise.

"What do you plan on doing?" I growled, glaring at her.

"Something similar to my previous fail attempt back in Mystic Falls. But in this instance, I'm linking you and Hayley to your own children, then killing you. As we speak your house is surrounded by powerful witches I have collected personally." She smirked, twirling around in celebration.

Then, she turned back to me, sighing. "Unfortunately, I have to wait to the moon reaches its apex, but I'm a patient woman." She walked back to her seat and sat looking at me.

"When I get out of here, and I will, I'm going to kill you and make sure you don't come back, personally." I growled, glaring at her.

Elena's POV

I gripped the back of the couch when another contraction flowed over me. The wood was splintering beneath my hand, but I didn't care. How can women put their bodies through this?! Kol stood away, looking afraid to come anywhere near me.

Klaus was definitely staying away, since I crushed his hand in during my last contraction. I felt so bad. He was only trying to help, but only ended up screaming along with me. And you want to know what Kol did?! He videotaped the whole thing!

"Are you okay?" Kol asked stupidly. I glared in his direction, breathing heavily as my contraction passed.

"I'm fucking peachy! It's not like my body being fucking stretched apart or anything!" I said, sarcastically.

"Don't get snarky with me! Blame the donor!" He said smartly, smirking.

"Oh, don't think I won't give him a piece of my mind when I see him! Where is the bastard anyways?" I grunted as I leaned against the couch.

"In the neighboring town, he is still not answering his phone." Kol said, looking away from me. I narrowed my eyes in his direction, but I was disturbed by someone charging in the doors.
