Lifesaver

Namjoon liked swimming, he always did. When he was young, he'd be the first to jump on the plank and dive in. In his teenage years, he'd be the first one to invite his friends to go swimming with him

But starting today he hates swimming, pools and everything that comes along with it because:

Namjoon was drowning.

Namjoon wasn't sure if he twisted his ankle when he jumped in or his legs are cramping, he doesn't know. All he knows is that every second that he is squirming in this hell like pool, he is closer to his death

Namjoon's arm are starting to grow tired. He can't squirm anymore. He doesn't know if the people in this area are dumb or just numb.

He feels hazy and slowly started to give up

Until a splash was heard and an arm pulled Namjoon to the surface, that time Namjoon thanked all gods for saving him

"Are you okay?" A guy said shaking his shoulder "yes I am, oh are you–" the guy laughed and lightly hit his shoulder "I am the life guard here" Namjoon sitted up and examined the life guard's face

"Oh I see" "why the heck are you squirming in a 5ft pool? Did you twisted your ankle of something? Because dude you're like 6 feet tall" Namjoon nodded and the lifeguard patted his back "so are you fine now?" Namjoon nodded again "alright then just be careful next time"

"sorry sir and thank you"

"No need to thank me, thank that dude over there, he's the one who woke my sleeping ass and told me that someone was drowing in a five feet pool" Namjoon looked to where the life guard was pointing and saw a boy in black and pink shorts

"Well I gotta do my job, I hope that this won't happen again" then the lifeguard went back to his seat. Namjoon was intrigued and slowly approached the boy currently sipping some mango shake

"H-Hello" crap he stuttered. "Oh hello" the boy greeted back smiling rather sweeter than the mango shake he was drinking "thank you for saving my life" the boy suddenly stopped sipping his cold drink and looked at Namjoon

"No problem" then Namjoon turned his heel to walk away smiling again before looking forward. The boy frowned when Namjoon disappeared from his sight

"Hey Seokjin! Come here and eat" a voice from behind said and with that, Seokjin stood and went closer to where the voice came from

Seokjin sighed before mumbling words that are for the boy he 'saved' a while ago "I like you Namjoon, too bad you can't know just yet"
