Pancake Problem

Jin flipped the fourteenth pancake with ease. He waited for the side to cook then he placed the pancake on a plate. He placed another decent amount of batter on the pan before going to the table and set it up for the morning

He placed two pancakes per plate and topped it off with different toppings like butter, maple syrup, honey, condensed milk, melted chocolate, strawberry syrup and sweet black beans. He knows whom is whom anyways. He's been doing this for three years now, he is used to it

He checked the other pancake but much to his dismay, it's already burnt. Well that's a waste. He placed the burnt pancake on a plate and went over to make another one

He carefully watched as the batter cooked in the pan like the mom he is. While doing so, he felt a presence behind him "morning hyung" a crooked voice said "morning Hobi" Jin greeted never leaving his eye off the pancake "the table is ready, go and eat" Jin said making Hoseok go to the dining area to fill his empty stomach

When the pancake is good to go, he placed the perfect pancake plate and topped it with strawberry syrup along with mini marshmallows. It looks perfect

He put a cover on top of it and went on to wake the other members up. He went to all the rooms, succeeding in waking all if them up in one go.

The members sat down on the designated chairs and ate the pancake with their favorite topping. While eating, Jin noticed one member not present "where's Namjoon? I just woken him up" he asked "he's probably just washing his face" Taehyung said after swallowing his maple syrup covered pancake

"I see" Jin answered and started eating as well

Few minutes later, Namjoon showed up still wearing his night wear "morning" he said "morning" the members answered "sit down Namjoon and eat" Jin said, he actually had a hard time swatting away those pesky, annoying flies flying over Namjoon's breakfast

"Ok then, thanks for the meal" Namjoon said and sitted down.

It was around 8:10 when the boys finished their breakfast. They scurried to the bathroom to wash as a mark to start their tiring schedule

After taking a bath, the members dressed up fashionably and were ready to go by 10:54. Just then Jin remembered his pancake "you guys get to the car, I'll be right back" Jin said and ran to the kitchen, he needs to give his to someone

He lifted the cover to find... nothing.

It's gone, the 'perfect pancake' he made

Jin sighed, where could it be? He swore he placed it under this cover but where is it? Jin just went back to the others and asked about the pancake, bottling up the anger he is feeling inside

"So have you seen this pancake in the kitchen?" Jin asked controlling his temper "no I didn't hyung" Taehyung said then went over to bug Hoseok, he knows how Jin is feeling just by the look of his face

When they arrived to the practice room, someone went near Jin

"Actually hyung, I saw your pancake" Jin looked up "where? Did someone took it?" Jin asked Namjoon "actually hyung.." Namjoon trailed before he was cut off by the angry Jin

"What? You ate it? Well fine! It wasn't an important thing right? Call me childish for being mad over a piece of fried batter but that was for someone special. Oh my god, I'm out" Jin shouted then left

Namjoon stood speechless and hurt, he can't believe his hyung just said that to him

The whole time, Jin was ignoring and avoiding Namjoon as much as possible. He was just so annoyed, that's why Namjoon wasn't there on time for breakfast. He ate it.

After their practice when they finally arrived on their dorm building Jin ran out of the car straight to the building next to theirs'. He needs to apologize to someone for not being able to bring them the pancakes he promised yesterday

Jungkook patted Namjoon's back "hyung, don't take it too seriously. you know Jin hyung, he's hostile when it comes to food" he said "it's okay, it's just... he never let me explain on what happened" Jungkook sighed "aish hyung, let's just go, it's cold outside" he said and pulled Namjoon inside their dorm

Jin knocked on the door door to be welcomed by her aunt "ah Jin, hello" she said "hello ma'am, is she still up?" He asked "yes she is, come in. I'll call her" she welcomed Jin inside their humble home

Someone came running to Jin's arms "Jinnie~" she said "hello Seola" Jin greeted, his anger is suddenly gone just by seeing Seola but his frown is still intact

"Why is Jinnie sad?" Seola asked "I'm sorry Seola" Jin said putting Seola down "why?" Seola asked wanting to be carried by Jin again which he did. He doesn't mind carrying Seola anyways "I broke my promise" Seola tilted her head

"What do you mean? Seola ate the pancake Jinnie made" Seola said pinching Jin's cheeks while giggling "w-what?" Jin asked confused "Joonie delivered the pancakes to me while it's hot, he said that you made it extra special so I ate it happily" Seola said

"Really?" Jin asked now guilty about what he said to Namjoon a while ago "mhmm! Thank you Jinnie for the pancake~' Seola added

"You're welcome, now go to bed. Goodnight" Jin said before kissing Seola's forehead. Seola kissed his cheek and bid goodnight "thank you ma'am" Jin said then left the house

He went up the stairs and went to their dorm's door, still feeling guilty

He knocked and was opened by Yoongi "hey hyung" he said "sorry for letting you guys wait, are they asleep?" Yoongi nodded "actually, Hoseok got sick a while ago and Taehyung took care of him. Jimin left the room, thinking that he might get the sickness and is now sleeping on your bed. Should I wake him up?" Yoongi asked

"No Yoongi, you go to bed too. I'll just sleep on the couch" Jin said with a smile

Yoongi bid goodnight to Jin and went to his room. Jin sighed then went to Namjoon and Jungkook's room. He peeked at the end of the door first cheking if they're asleep. There he saw a snoring Jungkook and a Namjoon still awake fidgeting with his phone

Jin went near Namjoon and when the latter noticed someone, he placed his phone down "oh hello hyung" Namjoon greeted. Jin lowered his head and spoke "I'm sorry Namjoon" Namjoon smiled "it's okay hyung, I know how you felt"

"But still, you even gave it to her" Jin stated "I know how much delicious it is served hot so I gave it to her early, sorry for not letting you know" Jin shook his head "no don't apologize, it's my fault"

"Anyways, I'll sleep now" Jin said but stopped when Namjoon spoke "where?" Damn, where would he sleep? It's too cold outside

"Uhm on the couch?" Jin said that sounded like a question "not on my watch, you're sleeping here" Namjoon said. Jin didn't notice that Namjoon was just behind him so he got pulled on the bed "wait where are you sleeping?" Jin asked "couch" then Namjoon left holding a pillow and a blanket

Jin slept kinda peacefully, he's a bit guilty for letting Namjoon sleep on the couch. Nevertheless, Jin felt happy that he was forgiven for being such a stupid hyung
