3.Like a family *edited*

Lucy's POV

After eating breakfast at my house, three of us were being escorted back to the guild by our team. Nalu was in high spirits and humming some kind of tune. It sounded familiar but i couldn't quite put my finger on it. He took Natsu's left hand and my right hand and asked us to swing him.

Natsu didn't mind and began to swing. I, on the other hand could feel the intense gaze of our friends from behind.

Gray was scoffing, while Erza was trying her best to hide her heated complexion. Wendy was just smiling and giggling the whole time.

Feeling that nothing would come of it, I played along with the swinging. Nalu began to laugh. He was slightly lifted and was swung back and forth. Nalu liked it very much that he had natsu and me swing his arms higher and faster.

I began to panic as Natsu begin to swing faster and faster."Natsu, slow down! Nalu might be afraid."

But then, to my surprise, the little boy was laughing and seemed to be having fun. "Mama don't worry, Nalu is a big boy. I'm not scared."

"Fine...but i won't swing too high okay?" I still felt very hesitant but let Nalu have his way.

This type of activity was Natsu's domain. He is someone who would enjoy being swung like this, guess Nalu got that from his father....wait, why am i taking this overboard?
I'm such an idiot
I hit myself with my other hand trying to knock some sense into my head. Both natsu and nalu stared at me like i was crazy.

"Mama, are you okay?" nalu asked concerned

"Well, I should be," i said half heartedly.

"I can't believe i really thought we were his parents. He must be really rubbing off me"

I began to swing in a fiercer speed unconsciously. This got Natsu, increasing his own and Nalu laughing even more. He was really enjoying this. Now it is more chaotic than usual.

The three people behind began to worry.

"You think the kid will be ok?" Gray asked, even if he didn't seem to give an ounce of care.

"He IS laughing..." Erza observed.

Wendy on the other hand began worrying.

Suddenly, Natsu's grip slips from Nalu's. This resulted in him flying in the air. Somehow I also let go, and was shocked at what I had done. I thought the little boy would fear his condition, instead he screaming with joy.

"Yeah! HIGHER HIGHER!!!" he said with a grin on his face. Seriously, the kid doesn't have danger in his vocabulary.

Before the others make their move to the rescue, We, the 'parents' were already up and going. I was running and calculating Nalu's fall. Behind me was Natsu, who wasn't actually good with these kind of things, was back up if i miss.

With a jump, i managed to catch Nalu who was still laughing.

"Mama!" he grinned. Before i could sigh in relief, i begin to panic.i prepared for the worst and shouted "NATSUUUU!!!!!!"

Lucky for me, Natsu managed to be catch me just in time.

"You okay?" Natsu asked, hugging me from behind. My cheeks heat up.

"Papa!" Nalu laughed with mischievious smile on his face.

We were what u call an "awkward position" Natsu is sitting on the pavement of the streets. Between his legs was me. And i was holding Nalu in my arms. Natsu's head on my shoulder,checking to see whether nalu and i were alright or not.

"Don't scare us like that" i blurted, finally able to sigh in relief. Nalu lowered his head as an apologetic gesture.

"Yeah, listen to your mom" Natsu then added. This got him wide eye when he just realized what he had said.

I gazed at him, a hint of pink on my cheek."guess you got used to it too huh?" i said to Natsu.

Natsu then felt his own face getting warmer.

After our "short" eye contact, we both gazed at Nalu. The little boy had raised his head and had given his smile. His cheeks were painted pink, just like mine. He really resembled me, with a hint of himself.

After a few minutes staring at each other, three of us began laughing, staying at our position.

The three people left behind came running, then halt at the sight. A smile was plastered on to their faces.

"They..." Gray began, but couldn't seem to continue.

Erza did the honors."Look like a real Family..."

"Uh huh" Wendy nodded.

Wendy and Erza admired the sight before them, until Gray decided to ruin the moment.

"So, till when do you plan to sit there and laugh?"

We stopped laughing and began observing how we were positioned. I quickly got up.

Natsu groaned.

After realising what i did i quickly apologised.
"I'm so sorry pa-Natsu,i forgot your chin was on my shoulder" i said blushing

"It's okay" Natsu grinned his famous smile

Nalu still clutched on Lucy's arm. He still had that smile on his face as he hugs his mother who was blushing scarlet, just as same as his dad.
