Bible Reading: 2 Corinthians 11:1-4
Foundational Verse:
- Exodus 34:14 The Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.
Rhema Word:
- GOD is jealous to those who distracts us to Him!
Messages:
- GOD made us and rescued us to know and enjoy Him forever.
- "I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God" (Exodus 20:5)
- God's jealousy is not like our self-centered love. His heart expresses His protective zeal for those who are His by creation and salvation. He made us and rescued us to know and enjoy Him forever. How could we ask for anything more than a God who is so zealous—and jealous—for our happiness?
Promises:
- God loves every one of us as if there were but one of us to love. - Augustine
Commands:
- 2 Corinthians 11:3 Do not be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ
- Do not be deceived!
- Do not worship any other GOD!
Warnings:
- Do not let your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted
- You happily put up with whatever anyone tells you, even if they preach a different Jesus than the one we preach, or a different kind of Spirit than the one you received, or a different kind of gospel than the one you believed.
Applications:
Father, help me shun anything that distracts me from You, so that I may always find enjoyment in who You are and in Your plan for me. I will not obey and bow to other strange GOD. You are a jealous GOD to me. Because I am your possession Father GOD. You only deserve my praise and worship! I am rightfully belong to You <3 It is a sin when we desire, or we are envious, or we are jealous of someone because he has something that we do not have. It is a different use of the word "jealous" when You God says You are jealous. What You are jealous of belongs to You; worship and service belong to You alone, and are to be given to You alone. A godly jealousy... Zealous—You are eager about protecting what is precious to You. And I know I am one of them. I am a proud daughter of You <3 The glory and praise will forever be yours! IN JESUS NAME. AMEN ♥
