"RAE!! WAKE UP!! TODAY'S THEY DAY!!!! THE SUN IS SHINING, THE TANK IS CLEAN AND- ow, no need to hit me, just trying to wake you up." Chelsea said, rubbing the back of her head. You rolled your eyes. "Yes, it was needed. I am very awake, and why are you quoting Nemo so early?" you laughed while your friend sighed. "There's never a bad time for quoting Nemo! Now hurry up and double check EVERYTHING. We can't forget a thing, and we need to get to the airport early." You quickly nodded, heading to your room.

You stood with your hands on your hips, 3 suitcases with clothes littered around them. You had everything, it just wasn't all packed. You quickly got to work, and while you were packing, you thought about all the memories you made in your small apartment. Birthday parties, sleepovers, New Years, everything. It made you tear up at the thought of leaving, but you knew you were making the right choice, as going to South Korea would help your photography skills. You folded your last shirt, sighing with relief. You sat back, examining the empty room. You ran your hand through your hair, slightly messing it up. "Chels! I'm ready! We should start loading the car soon." Your friend walked into your room, taking it in. "So.. this is really happening. It seems so surreal. I never thought this would be happening." You looked at her and smiled. "I'm glad this is happening. Its a fresh start!" Chelsea smiled back, nodding.  "Do you have all your equipment packed?" You pointed to one of your backpacks. "Yep, I have everything." Chels nodded, and exited your room silently. A few moments later, she rolled two out of four suitcases from her room. "You ready?"

---------

Everything was loaded into the car, and you were finally on your way to the airport. You were nervous, you'd never flown before. "Rae, calm down. Flying isn't scary at all, I promise." You nodded, staying silent.

You arrived at the airport, walking in and going through baggage. You then proceeded to security, which seemed to take a million years. Your heart was beating out of your chest, and you tried not letting it show. "Gate B25, right there!" You looked up and saw the gate, which wasn't very crowded. "Boarding gate B25 to South Korea!" You nervously looked at your friend. "Relax, we're just boarding." You grabbed her hand, slightly shaking. You had the window seat, and you were excited at all the beautiful pictures you were going to be able to take in the sky. Your captain came over the intercom, giving some basic rules and other information.

We began liftoff a few minutes later and, to yours and Chelsea's surprise, you weren't as nervous as you were before. You loved the view, and you already got a ton of pictures. The sky was a beautiful light pink color with steaks of blues and purples. "Chels, look at this one, I used my new lends and-" You cut yourself off as you saw your best friend already passed out next to you. You chuckled, putting your camera in your bag and staring off out the window. You wondered what this new life would be like, what it would lead to.

Maybe you'd find 'the one'? Highly doubtful. You tucked that thought into the back of your mind, hiding it so you wouldn't end up disappointed. Guys normally didn't like you for some reason, you didn't get why. You had blonde hair and blue-grey eyes, you were average height, you got good grades and you were very outgoing and smart. Maybe guys just weren't into that? You shook your head, making the thoughts go away. Yawning, you felt your eyes get heavy. You did have a long trip.. a little sleep wouldn't hurt, right? You gave into the tiredness and soon fell right asleep.
