*Three weeks later*
Its been three weeks since you first moved to Korea. Three weeks since you had a flashback. Three weeks since you've contacted Jiyong. He's texted, called. You just ignore it. You don't want to face him, can't face him. You've been hanging out with Woozi more, and you've come to notice him and Ji are polar opposites. Woozi is a sweet little angel who loves singing and dancing, and you've learned hes apart of a kpop group, known as 'Seventeen'. While Jiyong... well, he was just him. A beautiful boy who you keep ignoring. So much for friends, huh?
It was Woozi's last day in Seoul. He would be leaving for a few weeks to perform some shows, and you gotta admit, you were going to miss him. You spent your last day at a small park, taking pictures of him and of the beautiful scenery. He was a great model, he could go from serious to striking a ridiculous pose in seconds. You loved it, and so did he. "Woozi, look at this one!" You showed him the camera, cracking up. He busted out laughing, causing you to laugh even harder. In the midst of your uncontrollable laughter, you didn't hear someone come up behind you. "Rae?"
It was a voice you knew all too well. Wiping tears from your eyes, you turned, looking at Jiyong. "Oh, hi Jiyong." Woozi just stared at him, mouth open. "Rae, you know Jiyong?" He asked, astonished. You gave him a confused look a nodded. Jiyong gave him a look, shaking his head. "I'm gonna go get ice cream, be right back." He quickly kissed you on the cheek before running off. You just stared at Ji, waiting for him to talk. "Why have you been ignoring me? Did I do something wrong?" Pain was evident in his voice. "You did nothing wrong. I've been busy." You went over to the bench your camera equipment was on, changing your lens. "Oh, so this is how you treat me? I'll remember that the next time you call me at midnight, lost and scared." You looked at him, and his eyes were cold. "I-" He held his hand up, "Don't even try, have fun on your date." He stalked off, but you weren't letting him walk away. Not again. You grabbed his elbow, turning him.
"I'm so sorry." You quickly wrapped your arms around his torso so he couldn't run off. He hesitantly hugged you back, resting his chin on top of your head. You pulled back, looking at him. "I'll call you later, I promise. I gotta get back to Woozi." He nodded, letting you go. "See you around Rae." You turned and ran back to the bench, just as Woozi got back with your ice cream. "Rae, look! Ice cream!" He handed you yours, and as you were about to take a bite, a great idea popped into your head.
"Hey Woozi, check this out." As he turned, you shoved the ice cream in his face, smearing it everywhere. He gasped at the sudden coldness, looking at you while you laughed hysterically. "Oh, so you think this is funny? You're so gonna get it." You screamed, running away from him. You both ran around the park, and at some point he caught up to you, wrapping his arms around your waist and turning you. "Payback." He smirked, rubbing his face all over yours. Both of you were a mess, but you didn't mind. "We should probably head back to mine and clean up. I can walk you home after." You nodded, taking his hand in yours. You grabbed your camera bag, and out of the corner of your eye, you saw Jiyong in the same spot you had left him. You turned away, dragging Woozi along, trying to ignore the guilt you felt.
Jiyong's P.O.V
She looks so happy. So beautiful when she laughs, when shes focusing on taking a picture. But she isn't happy with me. Shes happy with him. I'm not enough for her. When she hugged me, I thought 'I have a chance, shes going to give it to me!' but as soon as she pulled away, she ran right back to him, leaving me with the promise of a phone call. I watched them chase each other around the park, laughing and enjoying themselves. I should leave, this is hurting me more than it should, but I can't bring myself to do it. Maybe I deserve this. For leaving that first day, for lying.
