Disaster

You woke up to a slamming door, which very much worried you, because it was just you and Jiyong here. Ji was still sound asleep, the door not waking him. You rolled your eyes. 'My freaking hero'. You wriggled out of his grip to see who, or what, was making noise so early in the morning. You tiptoed into the living room, finding no one. Slowly peeking your head around the corner, you saw Chelsea standing in the kitchen, her back towards you. "Chels..?" You asked, walking towards her. That's when she started sobbing, her shoulders violently shaking. She turned and ran straight into your arms, immediately wrapping her arms around you. You quickly wrapped your arms back around her, rubbing her back. Chelsea never cried, she's always so happy and bubbly, just like yourself. This was so.. out of character. Something bad must have happened. You guided her over to the couch, and tried calming her down. "Chels, deep breaths, everything is okay. I promise. What happened?" A concerned look was on your face, as you gently rubbed her arm. Her breathing was somewhat slowing down, and when she spoke, it was in soft whispers. "V-Vernon and I g-got in a f-fight." She looked down, barely able to say the last sentence. "He t-told me to l-leave and n-never come back.. h-he doesn't h-have time f-for me.." She started crying again. How could Vernon say those things? And to your best friend. Oh hell no.

"Lay here, Chels. I'll be right back." You ran to your room, grabbing your phone. Once you retrieved it, you walked back into the living room, already dialing Woozi's number. "Rae! Oh my gosh, it's-" "Woozi. Not the time. Give the phone to Vernon. Now." Your voice was deadly, and all Chels did was stare at you. "If this is about what happened earlier, it's just stress-" You were getting angry at this point. "I said, give Vernon the phone. Right now." He sighed, and you heard muffled talking before hearing the devil himself speak. "Hello?" Keeping your cool, you talked to Vernon. "Vernon. Not so lovely talking to you at this hour. Who do you think you are? Chelsea is nothing but good to you, she left for weeks just to photograph your performances, and you don't have the decency to treat her just as good? Fuck you, Vernon. You don't deserve her. No time for her, huh? No worries, she doesn't have time for you either. Don't want her coming back? No, you don't come back. And if you do, it won't be pretty. Also, Chelsea deserves an apology. In person. So chop chop." He was silent for a few moments, before you heard silent sobs. "I-I'm sorry.." You rolled your eyes, hanging up the phone.

"Chelsea, don't cry over dumb boys who don't deserve you. You're too pretty to be crying. Go lay in bed and rest okay? I love you Chels." The small girl jumped up from the couch, wrapping you in a tight hug. "Thank you so much, Rae. I love you too." She walked to her room, quietly closing the door. You checked the time. 1:30 am. You groaned, knowing you wouldn't be able to sleep for awhile. Your phone started buzzing, and you answered without looking at the caller I.D. "What?" Your tone was harsh, but you really didn't care. "Did I piss you off too?" Woozi. "Oh, hey, sorry." You sighed, feeling slightly bad about snapping at him. "I'm sorry about what Vernon did to Chelsea. He's a mess, he's talking to some of the boys about finding a way to apologize to her." His voice sounded tired. "Woozi, can we talk later?" You didn't mean to sound rude, you just weren't in the mood to talk to anybody. "Are you serious right now?" Here we go. "Yes, dead serious."

"Fine, I just won't bother you anymore. Not even worth it." You chuckled. "Not worth it, huh? Alright. Lose my number, don't bother trying to contact me if it's not even worth it." You hung up the phone. Why are bad things happening tonight? First, Chelsea and Vernon. I mean, what you did was of course appropriate, she's your best friend. No one hurts her, ever. What Vernon said was so uncalled for, Chelsea did anything and everything for him. Ungrateful asshole. And now you and Woozi are fighting. You're just not worth it. Not worth anything. Is that why you offed yourself? Is that why you tried drinking your sorrows away? Why you tried taking that whole bottle of pills? Because you aren't worth it? Maybe you weren't. Could this night get any worse?

"Who was that?" Maybe this night will get worse. You looked over and saw a very tired Jiyong. "Woozi. Why?" He shook his head, walking towards you. "Why were you talking to him?" You raised your eyebrows. Was he really trying to pick a fight with you? "I'm not doing this, not tonight." You tried walking back into your room, but Ji grabbed your arm, turning you around. "Yes, you are doing this tonight. Why are you talking to him?" His eyes were angry, and it scared you, but you held your ground. "Because," You ripped your arm from his grasp, getting in his face, "He wanted to talk, and you heard the conversation. Not a nice one. None of your business, anyways." He smirked. "Don't lie to me." You were fed up, you were so done with people. "Why is everyone trying to pick fights with me? God damn." You went and sat on the couch, putting your head in your hands. It felt like everything was falling apart, you didn't know how much you could hold yourself up. You felt worthless. Was it your fault everything was falling apart?

"I'm sorry Rae." You felt the couch dip next to you, and then felt a pair of arms wrap around you. Not today. You shoved him away, and a confused look appeared on his face. "No, that's not how it works. You can't just try and start fights with me, then apologize and try and hug on me like everything is okay. Because it's not." You ran your fingers through your hair, sighing. Jiyong stood up, and angrily started shouting at you. "You shouldn't be talking to him in the first place! I did nothing wrong here, you shouldn't have even answered the phone!" Was he being serious? "I can talk to whoever I like. You aren't my parent, last time I checked." He rolled his eyes. "Whatever Rae. I've had enough." And with that, he walked out, slamming the door behind him. You were shocked. Why was he so upset over something so.. so stupid? What has he had enough of? You? And he just left you, just walked out like you didn't mean a thing. It's 2 am for crying out loud, why on Earth is he walking around. You quickly grabbed your jacket and slipped on shoes. You had to go after him. This night has definitely gotten worse, so much worse. What a disaster.
