Michael McIntyre's POV:
The day had begun to slowly inch by and creep along, and something else has come to my attention about my beloved Juliet.
When excited, she has a very high energy level, and a surprisingly short attention span. There are only so many things you can see in one day.
I found her wanting to spend half a second at each destination and already becoming eager to move along to the next.
We were to be leaving back to Europe tomorrow early in the morning, which meant there were so many sights to view in such a short amount of time.
If I hadn't moved fast enough for her, she would literally grab my arm and pull me vigorously from street to street.
I ended up receiving a larger amount of physical activity than I had the day before. It was even worse outside however.
Instead of working in an air conditioned gym, we were now prancing about in the hot humid climate that is South Korea.
Everything was written in their language, which almost certainly meant I couldn't understand when, why, or how anything was built.
She had to translate every single word for me, not that I had minded but I learned to stop caring after the first few hours of the afternoon.
I let out a huff of air as she finally dragged me along to our final stop before we were allowed to head back to the hotel.
It was by far the most beautiful of everything we had seen the entire day. Nightfall had hit just before we arrived the fountain.
It was two round slabs of marble rock with a ten foot cylinder in the middle, allowing us to stand underneath the one placed on top.
All around the stone was a sparkling pond of crystal clear blue water with small lanterns floating on the top, reflecting off of the transparent liquid.
There was a pathway that lead us across the water and to the middle, where one slab of concrete was placed on the upper circle to separate a walkway through the falling water.
It was absolutely gorgeous to witness, and it was the first time I was truly interested in learning about something today.
I walked up to the enclosed box that was inscribed in a frame that hung proudly on the wall of this structure.
She waltzed over to it, scanning it directly and doing the translations in her head so she could explain the entire thing to me.
"This formation is called 'Chun Hei Dae Ho'" she began, pointing to the headline at the top of the long paragraph.
"What does that mean?" I asked curiously, staring at the strange unknown symbols. She cocked her head in a confused manor.
"I think... they're names." she muttered, running her dainty hand over the story line, and then glancing over towards me.
"Hundreds of years ago there lived a girl by the name of Chun Hei. She was young, and her family was poor." she told me, not taking her eyes off of the tale.
"She had a best friend named Dae Ho, who came from a very rich family, and swore he would do anything for her." she smiled at this, looking at me with gleaming eyes.
I grinned at the sight of her happiness. Her smile was heart melting, and I would absolutely do anything to be able to see it all the time.
"They would come here every single day to be together, but for as long as they both lived they didn't reveal their true feelings for eachother." she sighed, looking troubled at this.
