Part 10

The whole time we were in the calculation room that day,I was thinking.
I knew I've never like someone this much even my own parents.
I knew I always have liked boys more than girls
I knew enough.I was gay.but It still was hard for me to accept.It was hard for me to call my self gay although I didn't feel bad about it.
The other thing was my complicated feelings for him.Every time I looked at him I felt like I wanna be as close as I can to him,but I wanna run away and never see his face again.I never was okay with changing.I never was fine with complicated feelings..!
He responded my looks with a bright smile but that wasn't helping me calming down.
What if I don't like him?what If I have lied to him by saying I like him?why am I not feeling okay right now?
-Michael are you finished?
I came back to the real world.
-Yeah...Um...are We going right now?
-Yes but we are going out.
-Heaven?
-Nope,to the city!
-What??!Am I allowed to?
-Well...after lunch I was gone to talk with one of the leaders about you...I asked if we can go out so you can buy something for the room or anything...we are not allowed to go to your city but there's a village near here that has some stores and you can buy things...well,Are you interested?
-Of course I am interested why are you even asking??
So we went to our room to take our jackets and go out.It was the end of summer and a little cold outside in the afternoon.
When we passed the guards,we got into a car and Luke drove it.We reached the village.
It was incredibly silent and peaceful even though there were people everywhere.
We started walking in the streets,on both sides there were farms and fields which were in yellow and orange mostly.The colors matched perfectly with the bright blue of the sky.
I was so busy enjoying there that I didn't understand Luke's hand was moving uncomfortably and awkwardly through my hand.I felt his fingers being locked with mine,his hand was cold because of the air.I didn't look at him.I just held his hand tighter and smiled,Although he couldn't see it.
When we reached the store,I bought some novels and some posters,a pillow in a shape of gun which was really cool and some pain killers and advils for my neck and in case of emergency.
Luke bought something too,but I didn't see it
We put the baggages in the car and I asked him if we can stay a little bit longer and he said yes.
We walked to the end of the village.sky was starting to get darker and wind was blowing more.Then there was a bridge on a highway.I didn't recognize the highway.I didn't know where we were but I didn't care at that time.
I stared at the sky.
-Luke...Do you believe in sky?
-In sky?like what? That stars can tell you your future and these stuff?
-Yeah,for example.
-Well...when I was a child my mom told me stories of sky and stars but...no,not really,do you?
-I don't know maybe...no one ever told me a story of sky but I always think about it,what is above our heads and what things are living there,is there anything more interesting there than here?
-You don't like here?
-No...I don't like here...!
-Like nothing in here?On earth?
I turned around to face him and laughed a little bit.
-Oh come on are you asking me if I like you or not?how old are you?5? You know I don't mean like that...
-So you like me?
I looked at him trying to seem exhausted.
-You know the answer!
-I wanna hear it!
-Seriously?you want me to act like this is a romantic film and I am the actor who should tell you how much he likes you??!and then what?you'll kiss me?
I started to laugh really loud,although I somehow wanted all of those things to happen.
He was laughing too,but not that much.
-So you don't like romantic movies?
-I hate them!
-Which kind of films do you like?
-Umm...science fiction?
-Are you kidding me?!!
-Nooo I'm serious I like them,specially the ones with aliens in them!
Then,he was laughing so hard and loud.
-Oh my God!Mike you're so ridicules.
My smile was faded,soon after hearing that.
-Oh...I'm sorry I didn't mean that,I'm not gonna call you that again...I mean-
-no Luke,I'm not talking about ridiculous but call me Mike,call me Mike for the rest of our lives,I want you to call me Mike,you and only you...!
I turned again,didn't want him to see how shy I was that moment.
It was silence for some time,until I felt his hands around my waist,his lips were getting close to my neck.his breath was warm.He placed his lips on the side of my neck,keeping that there for a moment and kissing it slowly.
I think I forgot to breathe for some seconds.I knew How I felt.I knew who I wanted,and that was Luke.I never lied to him.I really liked him.more than anyone who has ever come into my life,even though he changed my way,he kidnapped me and made me stay somewhere I didn't like.I liked him,a lot...
That,was the moment I stopped thinking.I faced him.Locked my hands around his neck,closed my eyes..
I kissed him.
I kissed Luke.
And he kissed me back.
And we kissed again and again under the moonlight on a bridge in the middle of nowhere,forgetting everything and everyone but us,the two of us...
Thinking how we didn't even know each other days ago and then we were kissing!we liked each other and we wanted to stay that way for as long as possible...
We broke apart after couple of minutes,trying to catch our breath.
I placed my forehead on his,still not opening my eyes.
-This...was...the...best...first kiss....ever...
