I repeated his sentence in my mind a few times to understand it
How to kill.
Of course they wanted to teach me how to kill
They were murders and that was their job
I looked down,closing my eyes to ignore the pressure on me

My eyes started getting hot,I felt my tears on my cheek
He opened one of his hands,telling me to go there and lye with him
I rested my head on his hand,the side of his T-shirt was wet cause of my tears
-Shhh...Michael it's okay...I'm okay everything is gonna be alright
I just got closer to him,like he was sending me calmness and I was receiving it
-Michael I would come with you tomorrow I promise I won't do anything I just want to be beside you...
I wanted to say no again but I didn't,honestly I wanted him to come too

He said,smiling a little and kissing my forehead

Luke couldn't come for dinner,so I brought our plates to our room,putting them on Luke's bed and sitting next to him
-Are you feeling better?do you have pain?
-I'm fine...don't think about it
We had our dinner in silence
It was after dinner that someone knocked the door
I was shocked,and scared...
Then the door was open and I saw a familiar face,that Ashton guy from yesterday
-Hu...um can I come in??
We nodded and he came and sat on the bed next to Luke
-Oh Fuck...I guess he entered the knife more than he wanted to...
-who??!
I said,eager to find out who did that to Luke,my Luke

He was stopped when Luke hit him so hard on the arm

But I understood,my mouth was open and my eyes were burning

But Luke wasn't looking at Ashton anymore,he was looking directly at me

I stood up,not facing any of them

Ashton got up,probably not wanting to hear the rest

He said,kinda shouting
As soon as he closed the door,I felt like there was a hand on my mouth trying to stop me from speaking before,but then it was gone
-Luke,you are going to tell me the whole story,or else I won't speak to you as long as possible!

-Okay fine...well in this training sessions they make us fight,so we will be able to defend ourselves if anything happens...and today was my turn,and not surprisingly,Calum volunteered to be my rival,we can't use any guns while fighting but no rules for other things,and they actually give us some vests to protect our body but as you see,the don't protect your sides...so...this happened..

-Michael don't worry I'm gonna be fine this is not my first time...
-I don't know what to say...
-It's fine,you don't have to say anything,let's get some rest ha?we should wake up earlier tomorrow...

I started walking to my bed,and I knew he was confused and maybe annoyed that I wasn't going to sleep with him
-Luke I want you to have enough space for sleeping,you have a wound and I don't want to accidentally push it in the middle of the night,so don't look at me like that!
I turned the lights off and buried myself under the covers
-Good night Luke...
No respond
I closed my eyes but it was seconds later that I felt a weight on my bed
-Luke what are you doing??!
-I've slept 19 years without you,I'm not gonna do that any more...
I wanted to say no,I wanted to tell him to get off,but he sounded sleepy,like he was gonna sleep the second after his sentence
-Fine...just wake me up if anything happens
He locked his hand around my waist and kissed my neck,just like last night

When we woke up,the sun wasn't in the sky yet
I changed bandages on Luke's wound and we dressed up in silence
When we were walking through the doors I was shaking a little bit,although Luke was right beside me It was scary to go out with those guys I didn't even know
It was obvious that Luke understood,because he took my hand and started rubbing it with his thumb,smiling at me and whispering that he's with me and everything is gonna be okay.
We got into big awkward cars with no windows and started going to wherever the training place was.
The whole time I was squeezing Luke's Sleeve and trying not to look at all of the guys around us,until one of them spoke.
-So you're new
-Um...yeah he's new...
Luke said immediately,knowing I wasn't ready to talk to anyone!
-Is he dumb or something?
-No it's just...his first session,we all remember your first session Peeta!!
Everyone started laughing,I looked at Luke,waiting for him to tell the story
-He fainted!
-Shut up Luke,do you want me to hit you next time?
Luke laughed again,this whole laughing thing was so annoying,how could they be so happy?
-By the way,I'm Peter,but as you recognized they call me Peeta
I shook his hand

He said and everybody started saying welcome to me and introducing them selves
If our clothes weren't all black and we weren't in that car,it would feel like we were in a party and saying our greetings!
-So Michael,now that you speak,how old are you?

He said,while he was looking at my hand which was locked around Luke's
I drew back my hand so fast that Luke was scared

Luke moved a little uncomfortably

The car stopped and Luke didn't have time to finish his sentence,everybody started getting off and we too
We were in the middle of somewhere like desert,there were some tents and guns and paper aims were everywhere
I was somehow relaxed that we weren't going to kill actual people!
Every one stood in lines and then Eric came.
He started speaking but I really wasn't paying attention so I don't remember what he said
After that we went to aiming places in groups of 4
The other 2 guys in our group were friendly
As soon as the realized it was my first time,they started comforting me and telling me it's gonna be normal after some sessions
It was strange that most of the people there were so sweet,It was strange because of their job
At first I didn't hit the target,but after several times I was getting better
It wasn't like I never liked guns,or else,why would I buy a pillow in a gun shape?
It was about an hour past when Eric came in our place
-So Michael how is it?
I swallowed hard and tried to make my voice soft

-Good?that's it?you are not scared?

I lied,I was scared
-O really? Good so I would like you to fight today
As soon as he said that world,I froze,It was a scary silent until Luke broke it
-But sir it's his first session,we never do that before the fifth session
-Let's brake some rules Luke,your little friend is not scared at all!
He turned,with the same smirk as always
-See you in 10 minutes Michael
As soon as he was gone,I felt on the floor,one of the guys gave me some water and Luke sat next to me on floor
He was silent
And it was scary

-what am I gonna do? I've never fought before I don't even know how to use a knife I'm so weak I can't hit anyone I'm-

I didn't know what to say,I opened my mouth several times but words weren't coming

One of the 2 guys in our group said
-Luke I would volunteer and I promise I won't hurt him I promise you
Luke was silent,probably thinking,after some seconds he nodded slowly
So the guy started telling me what he will do and what I should do as a reaction
I was a little relaxed and for no reason,I trusted him
We heard a loud noise and everyone started gathering together around a mattress
Eric started speaking
-As a new rule,we make the new ones fight in their first session
Everybody started speaking,saying it's not fair
-And as a start,Michael would be fighting today
He looked at me and I knew it was my turn to go there
Luke squeezed my hand and I started walking to Eric
When I got there,the guy raised his hand
-I volunteer to fight with him
But Eric didn't say anything
-O sorry but I think that's not possible
I saw Luke's face starting to get red
Mine was white for sure
Eric looked at me and I looked back
And I saw in his eyes
What was going to happen to me
He faced the crowd again
-I fight with him!
