Nothing Gold Can Stay

Intro

I woke up to an obnoxious alarm beeping at my ears, ten more minutes I thought to myself. BEEP BEEP BEEP! ! UGH!!

I stuffed my head under my pillow trying to block the overly anoying sound, then I had the most brilliant idea!

I moved my hand to my bedside table trying to find my alarm clock, just as I did I smashed my fist down with slot more force than needed.

Seeing as it fell still blaring its horrendous noise.

" Ugh!!" I muttered getting of my comfy bed that was calling to me at this moment. I picked it up and set it on the nightstand turning it off.

Well, I guess its time to wake up since I wont be able to go to sleep any more.

I quickly went into the restroom taking a long shower with some rose and honey scented shampoo, then got out.

The good thing was it was summer so I could take as long as I wanted, as I got out I grabbed a towel and wrapped it around me.

As I stood in the mirror looking at the girl staring back at me, she had long black hair down to mid butt, light brown eyes, and rosy pink lips , I was skinny I guess you could say, with curvs and a D cup. All my friends said I was pretty and beautiful, bla bla bla, well I didnt think so, to me I was just average, but i was okay with that, because im me and proud of it, i didnt care what anyone else though, anyway.

I quikly dried and straighten my hair, quickly applying makeup.

I got out of my restroom and got dressed in some red skinny jeans and a

black shirt and some black converse.

After a final look in the mirror I went downstairs were I could smell the delicious smell of my moms famous cinnamon pancakes and freshly made orange juice. My stomatch rumbled just at the smell of the deliciousness, as I entered the kitchen I saw my mom making the oh so great pancakes and my dad drinking coffee while my brother sat eating cerial.

"Hey mom!" I said giving her a kiss in the cheek.

"Hey honey were are you going today?" she asked she flipped the pancake.

"To the fair with Alex, Andy, Marcos, Gabby and Jackie." I answered while stuffing my face with the delicious goodness.I quickly ate two and drowned my orange juice, putting my dishes in the sink.

"Bye, everyone!!!" I yelled behind me as I closed the door, if only id known.I walked slowly to the corner of the street were we always met. Since we all lived close and near the fair we walked, though I was always late or at least the last person to get there. As I got closer, I was correct they were all there and I was the last, as always. As I stood there and watched them Gabby which had red hair down to mid back, freckles, black eyes and was short like me.

Next to her was Jackie my girl bestfriend, with curly blond hair to mid back and pale blue eyes and was short too, exept WAY more beautiful.

Off next was Mark eith his natural red hair down to the middle of his neck and black eyes, fair skin and nice body just like Alex and Grover.

Grover had brown hair to his ears and brown eyes with 5'6 feet tall, which was inconviniently Alex and Marks same hight too, inconvenient why you must ask, well seemply because im short.

And last but not least, my best friend, Alex, with his black hair down to mid-neck, beautiful deep ocean blue eyes, and dimples.We were like two peas in a pot we could never be separated, not for more than a day, we were really close that some people thought we were dating, thought I guess we did act like a couple

He looked up and the most beautiful smile spread out on his face, just as one started doing on mine.I ran and jumped in too his opened arms as I wrapped my legs around his waist, I kissed his cheek and hugged him tightly.

"Hey babe, what took you so long" he said smirking kissing my cheek back.He acted all cocky when we were all alone with our friends but when it came to class presentation he was supper shy.

"Im sorry mate,I was just powdering my wigg I simply couldn't forget that" I said in a fake British accent while waving my arms in the air.

"I guess we cant have that although you don't need a wigg to look beautiful" he said as he pushed a strand of hair behind my ear.I faintly blushed, I never blushed with anyone or for anything only Alex could make me for some reason.

"Are we going now?" Gabby asked looking at her phone "We play at 12" she said still not looking up.We still had an hour to get there and it was an 5 minute walk so we still had time but we also had to set up the equipment and everything. You see were all in a band we made two year ago when we were 13, now fifteen.

"Okay" I simply replied and locked arms with both of my best friends

"Off we go ", I yelled as I started skipping towards the fair.
