A/N: So sorry that it had been a while. But here is the story and the next chapter will be done soon!
...............When someone say the word infinity, what does it mean to them? What would infinity symbolize to them? Most people think infinity is most likely forever. But the real question is if infinity symbolize eternity what would that forever be?
"Where is my brother?" Robin asked again, hoping to get Amanda attention.
Amanda was too busy trying to understand why Robin was there in the first place because she and Andrew were supposed to meet him instead of him meeting her. Instead of just answering the question she stared at him for a while, until they both heard a voice behind them interrupting a potential conversation.
"Andrew is at our house and I have the key if you want to talk to him." Amanda heard Peter emphasizing our and flinched at the tone he was putting on her. She knew he would be mad at her for suggesting a divorce but that is how she felt and she just wanted to be honest with herself and him. She did not want him to be like this. She just wanted for him to understand. That was all she could ask for.
Robin took the key Peter was holding out to him and look between Peter and Amanda wondering what happened to them while he was away. He remember the last time he visit or saw them, they were both so happy and were in love. Now they both look lost and confused but Robin can still see a little hope there. Robin look at Peter giving him a nod before heading toward the door but before he left he turned back around to look at Amanda and Peter, shaking his head before speaking, "Whatever you are going through, you will get through it." Robin then whispered, "You just have to let it." Leaving both Amanda and Peter staring at his long waited spot by the door, which he just closed. They then proceeded to look at each but Amanda was the first one to speak, "I need time Peter. Please give me that."
Amanda was about to go upstairs to pack up for Lucas and her trip, when she heard Peter mumbled under his breath. She turned back around, "What was that?" she questioned.
"Nothing," Peter mumbled, "It is pointless anyway."
Amanda glared at Peter. "We not talking cause this split in the first place."
Peter look up at Amanda. Amanda saw this and saw how his eyes changed a different shade of color. What was brown was now pure black. "Don't." whispered Peter, instead of saying what he had wanted to.
"Don't what?" Amanda questioned but when he did not reply she continued, "Don't mentioned how we are separated or what is it Peter? You shutting out cause this too happened in the first place. If you want to fight for me how about you start by opening up."
Peter stared at her for a while trying to come up with something---anything but he couldn't because he knew she was right and he refused to admit this. "I-I---" Peter tried to tell Amanda how he truly felt but he couldn't. He was scared of the outcome. Ever since he was little he was a shy person and he would back out of things that would overcome it. He knew if he take that first step there will be hope for him, them, but he just couldn't.
"Spit it out, Peter!" yelled Amanda, losing her patience. She knew about his shyness and what it could do to him but she will not let that affect her and let it be an excuse for him to not open up.
Peter stood there as silent as a mouse and if there was a cricket in the house that would be the only thing a person would hear. Eventually, Amanda had enough of him not talking so she just move on. She was about to go back upstairs when she heard it. She heard that voice. The voice she loved the most and missed since this chaos happened.
"I meant it you know." slowly Peter said as the words came out. Amanda look at him confused and Peter saw this but ignored it. "I meant I will fight for you. I meant that I love you and that nothing can come between us. What is happening now, we will get through it. Just like Robin said, we just have to let it. I am letting it. Are you?"
