........................

"Andrew," whispered Peter. "Are you okay?"

Andrew was standing in his black long coat with a hood at the top of his head and tears were running down his cheeks while he was shaking his head side to side. "I don't know." mumble Andrew, under his breath.

"Come inside, you must be freezing." Peter gestured for Andrew to come inside but Andrew hold his hand up, shaking his head again. "Andrew, you have to tell me what is wrong. Please."

"I am sorry." mumble Andrew before walking away shaking the snow off his head.

It was December this time of year and every December it somehow snows. Andrew normally would enjoy this year with Amanda, Peter, and Lucas but ever since Robin dropped a bomb on him he could not shake the feeling that his dad is going to die.

"Andrew, you can't run away from your problems!" Peter shouted while Andrew kept walking away. "I learn that hard way and look were that had got me. Whatever it is, Andrew, it is going to be okay. All you to do is to have faith." whisper Peter who thought Andrew did not hear him.

Andrew turned around with fury in his eyes. "How do you know? Tell me how you will know everything will be okay!" yelled he, before whispering. "I was not there okay. I was not there and I ran all my life away from them. Does that make me a horrible person?"

Peter was bewildered. He has no idea what Andrew is talking about but he felt extremely sorry for him. "What are you talking about Andrew?" Andrew stood there looking at the ground for a couple of minutes. The snow was growing and the winds were becoming harsh against both of the men skin. They were both freezing but neither one of them moved.

"My dad is dying of cancer." A broken Andrew whispered.

The hours ticked by as the two men stood in the freezing weather until they heard a noise coming from Andrew's house.

"What are you two doing out here?" Amanda yelled since they were both far away but yet close to the house. Peter and Andrew looked at each other while Amanda shook her head before yelling, "Just get inside before both of you freeze to death!"

Andrew, Peter, and Amanda all stood at the fire that was brewing. Peter still couldn't shake what Andrew told him and wanted so badly to ask him but couldn't because Amanda was there.

"So..." trailed off Amanda, who was desperately trying to start a conversation. "What did you two talk about?"

Peter looked at Andrew who was looking at Amanda and which Amanda was staring at both men.

"I want to go home." mumble Andrew, so softly that Amanda and Peter couldn't almost hear him.

"Why?" Amanda asked at the sudden shift in the atmosphere.

"I want to go home!" yelled Andrew as if he was a little kid who got his feeling hurt.

"But why?" Amanda questioned again becoming confused.

"My dad is dying that is why!" Andrew shouted in her face.

Amanda flinched at the tone Andrew had produced upon her and this is when Peter stepped in to defend his wife which was not needed since Amanda moved away from Peter.

"Andrew I am so sorry. I don't know what to say."

"Just...if you still can come with me. Can you still come with me?." Andrew asked but then added. "You too Pete."
