Part III
"She gave life and she knew when the life was no more, she is everywhere but only a few can see, she sings her sweet melodies that echo through the woods, in hope that her daughter could hear, that it would draw her daughter near. Years and years have passed the sweet melodies played but the Goddess Daughter is still not found, the only one that could ever bring full abundance of peace, harmony and life in the woods, yet the child is still unknown, for her safety the Goddess and the great Wizard had kept the identity of the child, only to say the 'Our daughter is alive and healthy, her identity will remain anonymous until the evilness of the darkness have been put to rest, until then our daughter will be sent away too be protected to live a normal life and in time will come back when the time is right to where she belongs and will be loved and treasured. With a heavy heart, our baby Goddess will not know of her magic and great power. With great sorrow my own daughter will grow up not knowing her real parents and not know where she belongs.' The great wizard sent this letter to only his closes companions, not even they know the identity of the child. Only time will tell if the child of the Great Wizard and Goddess of the Woods will ever come back home."
I study the words from the small article that was out of what seems like a newspaper from Nanna Rose's collections, apparently Nanna Rose always had an interest in the stories of my parents and the stories that follow them, she had a collection on them. It took us a month, Leah by my side the whole time reading through everything, every story and every myth anything that had my parents in it. In all honestly I am impressed, if they did anything close to what the stories say in real life, I would be shocked and proud. They saved so many lives, they protected those in need, they also left without a trace before anyone to begin to thank them, they did not want any thanks, they just wanted their woods to be safe and for all that is good to overpower the evil the lurks in the dark parts of the woods. Reading through these stories, seeing all the danger that follows them and they go out to face, I understand why they wanted me away from the evil and danger. A child could not grow up in those situations it would not be heathy or safe. I take a deep breath, I feel Leah snuggle into my neck.
"Throughout all of these stories there is one name that keeps recurring, Albus Richards, we need to find him." I say relaxing into her touch.
"That should not be too hard, he is quite well known in our wold." Leah mumbles into my neck making me giggle.
"Well we should see him." I say pulling away slightly, making her growl, pulling me back down.
"We will go tomorrow, now we need to sleep, we will go first thing tomorrow." Leah says before getting us both standing then dragging me to our bed, throughout our research Leah has taking it upon herself to make sure I eat, drink and sleep, if it was just up to me I would not be functioning.
"I really appreciate you doing this, being there." I tell her cupping her cheek resting my forehead onto hers.
"I would do anything for you, I want to help you find your parents. Plus all this is very interesting, finding out that these bed time stories that I have heard might be real, it's fascinating." Leah runs her fingers through my hair and tucks it behind my ears. I could not hold my chuckle.
"Says the big bad wolf." I tease her, she laughs and playfully slaps my arm.
"Sleep little Red, we have a big day tomorrow." Leah coos at me making me sigh, snuggling close together as we hear the rain lightly patter down on the trees outside with the owls and the wind lulling us to sleep.
