I awoke to blurry sight. My left thigh was throbbing due to an overactive pulse and all I heard was inunderstandable commotion. I couldn´t feel my right leg, and I was pretty sure my right arm was in a cast.
As I attempted to turn my head to look around, I painfully found out my neck was in a brace. I soon realized why my eyesight was so blurry. One of my eyes was stitched shut and sealed with a cotton eye patch that wrapped around my head.
I ached all over, except for the leg i couldn´t feel. What had happened?
After a long explanation given to me, I found out I was in the hospital after a painful train accident. I looked down to see how bad my injuries were. My left calf was amputated which would explain my throbbing thigh. It was amputated from my knee down, wrapped in blood stained bandage, covered in pain.
My right arm was broken in seven different places, what a pain. Not only that, but, great news, i was paralyzed in my right leg, which meant only one thing; wheelchair. I was feeling so drowsy, so pained. The bed was comfortable, but it did not make up for my own lack of comfort.
I had tubes sticking in and out of me everywhere and it smelled a horrid stench of rotten fish.
