There would be no school tomorrow, due to an inservice day. I was grounded, so I wouldn't be able to do much. I decided just to sleep all day and be prepared for the next day. The next day we did have school, and I decided it would be best not to tell Shawn, of course Brynn thought otherwise...
"I told him for you!" Sometimes it annoyed me how much of a morning person Brynn was due to the fact I wasn't. What she said caught me off gaurd. Completely. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" I was ticked. ¨I tolld him..I thought you would like me too..¨ I couldn´t stay mad at her that long, i decided just to forgive her. ¨Whatever. Thanks a lot.¨ Did I really just say that?
I didn´t talk to Shawn all day, and the fact that he wasn´t in any of my classes made that easier. I went home by myself on the bus, gloomily watching Shawn and Brynn walk home. I sat on the bus, next to the window, staring out ominously, lonesomly. The bus screeched to a stop, and skidded around the corner.
I walked up the aisle, backpack hunched against my shoulder, and walked out the door to the bus stop. The door shut behind, making a shriek as it did so. I slumped towards my house, a short 2 blocks, passing Brynn and Shawns house and hearing faint cries coming from there.
Obviously they were crying because Shawn was leaving. Entering my house, I threw my backpack on the floor and commenced up to my room.
When I got up there, I noticed my computer was making its usual electronic beeping and went to check. Brynn had sent me an IM message.
Brynn: Wen shld i pick u up?
Me: around 5:30ish, at the bus stop.
Brynn: Kk, hun. hey, u ok?
Me: yea, fine. y?
Brynn: u just seemed really ticked today.
Me: nah, im fine. so hows the news travelin?
Brynn: horridly. evry1 cried today.
Me: yea, i herd u guys.
Brynn: we wer THT loud?
Me: yeah... srry i gtg do my hw. cya 2moro
Brynn: deucess .
