We hopped on our bus, greeted the bus driver and headed  straight to the backseat. Brynn, Shawn, and I always sat in the backseat. It was like the territory of a lion, anyone crossed onto it and they were dead meat. Seeing as though we are seniors, it just gave us more advantage.

We sat in our usual seats, me in the window, of course next to Shawn, And Brynn in the seat across from us. Today Shawn was holding my hand as we sat down- and whilst we were sitting. Immediatly we began to question Shawn on his descision to join the army, almost as badly as though an interegator would.

"You're SO stupid! What about your dream to go to Rice University with me? We've planning this since Freshman year, BEFORE we started dating!" I interegated him. Believe me, I was pissed.

" I thought about it all last week" He uttered, "And decided that It was a good idea. Y'know to serve the country."

"DO MOM AND DAD KNOW ABOUT THIS?" Brynn's eyes scorched with fury, smoke almost coming out of her ears.

"Of course!" Shawn retorted. Now he's getting angry at how we're questioning him. His jaw locked, and he let go of my hand. I motioned Brynn to cut it out. Seeing as though we've been friends since 2nd grade, she understood me and shut the black hole she calls a mouth.

With horrendous timing we arrived at our stop: School.

Fun!

Not. Shawn wasn't of my classes which made me very angry, and we didn' even have lunch at the same time! When I have study hall, he has lunch and vice versa.

The only time we see each other is after English; 5th period, when he walks me to our bus stop with Brynn. I entered our school building, realizing that the sky is getting cloudy and that there is a good chance it will begin to rain today. In the school building, I began to make my way to Homeroom where Mr. Supman was waiting for me.

"Late again, Ms. Dupree?" Ugh, his voice is so annoying.

"Sorry, my bus ran late" Wow. Lame excuse, Madison.

The day had drug on and on without seeing him until after English. He was as cute as ever dressed in a leather jacket and slit jeans with holes in the knees. I walked slowly over to him, placed my books on the linoleum floor, and wrapped my arms tightly around his waist.

His hazel eyes were perfect in the rainy atmosphere that was just beyond the glass doors at the end of the hallway. "There's my girl..." He said, gazing into my beautiful, golden eyes that complemented every aspect of my image. I decided it was time for that moment.

I leaned in slowly, as did he. Both lost in each other's arms, eyes closed, our lips locked together in harmony. His lips were like nothing I've never felt before. His kiss so passionate, so warm.. The only thought that ran through my head were those three little words that mean so much... I love you.
