Just saying, my chapters won´t be the longest, so bare with me(:
Chap. 1
Normal Day.
It started out as a normal day. A normal day for me, at least. I woke up from my luxury-filled sleep and began to groggily make my way to the bathroom. After I quick shower, I began to get dressed for school. I picked out my favorite outfit, A hot pink spaghetti strap cami with white jean shorts and my neon converse. As I walked down the slippery, gold, wooden stairs, I stumbled on a step, causing me to fall down, leaving a scuff mark on my shoe. "Crap..," I mumbled to myself and continued to make my way down.
As I entered the kitchen I saw my mother had already began to prepare breakfast. As usual she made her perfectly browned gold pancakes with thick maple syrup and scrambled egg. The invigorating smell filled the whole house. "Good Morning, Madison!" my mother joyfully lilted. "Morning, mom..." I managed to mutter out of my mouth; sticky with dry saliva from sleeping. "Sleepy much?" again, my mother said. "Just a tad." I instantly retorted. I began to eat my pancakes, letting each bite slowly dissolve in my mouth, for I had just gotten braces the day before, and chewing was quite painful, even if it was just fluffy pancakes. I finished at a snail's pace. When I did finish, I grabbed my school bag and left the house, strollling to my bus stop.
Once at my bus stop, I met up with my best friend, Brynn Williams. Her twin brother was my boyfriend, Shawn Williams. I always thought it was ironic when you were dating your best friend's brother; and now, I'm living through that! I began to converse when Brynn, about stupid stuff of course, when her brother, my boyfriend Shawn, came up to us. "Hey, babe" Was what he said to me before kissing me. Although it wasn't a long kiss, It was a tender kiss. So passionate, so warm, yet so short. Every time he kissed me felt like the first. "What's up?" I lovingly asked him after our short, but enjoyed, embrace. "Not much he said...Actually, a lot. I joined the Army."
"WHAT?!" were the only words that Byrnn and I could simoultaneously force out of our mouths. I couldn't believe that Brynn, his own sister, didnt even know. Right there, at the worst time possible our bus pulls up, screeching against the pavement and coming to an abrupt stop near the corner. "Great Timing..." Brynn sarcasticly muttered.
