Author's note time :
Okay folks this chapter is going to be extra long because it is part of Farrah's background story. I tried cutting it up, but I couldn't split it so here it is... (I love the ellipses, it's my favourite punctuation mark.)

My heart stopped at the sight in front of my eyes. There was a group of cars and vans parked outside my house, but that wasn't what stopped my heart though. It was the ambulance next to our driveway and my mother standing at the back of it that did.
Meghan parked the car only three houses from my mine since there were already cars parked. I got out of the car and ran to my house.
"Danielle what's going on?" I asked my mother just as I reached her. She gave me a faint smile, her cheeks red.
"Well, I flodded the house." She pointed at the vans. One of them had a logo that said 'Sudds begone' showing a picture of a flooding bathtub.
"Hey mommy," Meghan said to Danielle."What's going on?"
"She flodded the house." I answered, annoyed at best. I seriously thought this was news but Danielle had only flooded the house.
"How, what happened?" Meghan took Danielle's side sounding concerned. Good at least now I had a proper distraction from Heighton, Meghan hadn't stopped bugging me over the Heighton thing. I knew she'd only agreed to shut up just to get me to stay in the car. It worked.
"I was trying to do the laundry but I tripped and fell down the stairs. Which explains the ambulance, when I came to, the house was pooling." Danielle said, earning herself a hug from Meghan.
"See I told you having a laundry machine upstairs was stupid." I pointed out, earning myself a glare from both Meghan and my mom. I rolled my eyes.
"You're mother fell down the stairs Farrah, can you be less insensitive." Meghan scolded. I turned around and walked away from them.
"Rhen, what's going on?" Brogan asked, getting out of his car which was parked in the middle of the street. Door wide open. I figured I could just take his car and drive off and leave this stupid place. The neighbourhood was out, looking at the joke that had become my house.
"Your mother flooded the house and fell down the stairs." I said dryly.
"What?" He gasped looking at the direction our mother was in.
"I'm taking your car." I said, and hurried for it. I started the engine and drove off away from the scene. I parked the car next to a house down the street and just sat.
It smelled so much like Brogan, I had to open the roof top window just to get rid of the smell. I don't know how long I'd been sitting there but it took a while before the unknown and highly unnecessary cars started leaving the premises.
I drove up the road to my house to find only the ambulance and one van at the house. The ambulance was reversing out of the driveway so I waited for the ambulance to go.
