Chapter 1"Uh miss Wince," Mr Maslow, my Advanced Writers class teacher said as I walked into class and just at the mention of my last name every asshole in class winced. Childish bastards.
Namely my most hated person in school, Terra Scott, who sat in the middle row, only a desk away from me. I glared at her as she smirked with a raised eyebrow.
"How nice of you to finally join us," Mr Maslow continued. "Go take your seat." He instructed with an exasperated sigh.
I walked towards my table and placed my bag on the chair next to mine. I'd grown accustomed to arriving late whenever I had Writers and that was almost everyday of the week for the past four years in this class. Mr Maslow had given up on me by now. Honestly most of my teachers had, a form against my late coming had been signed, but that only worked for two weeks until I called shenanigans.
"It must feel lonely there huh?" Terra scoffed with a grin plastered on her disgusting face.
"Go choke on a di-"
"Alright ladies. That's enough." Mr Maslow interrupted before I could finish.
I turned my head to the side facing the window and looked outside then, redirecting my anger towards something else, my blood boiling and nails digging into my desk. It didn't help that I had to be in the same class as her, she barely had talent.
Hate was an understament for how I felt about the girl. I could have done without her presence in my life. Hell I barely considered her one yet she always managed to worm her repulsive self under my skin.

"I don't even know why she's in that class, she is not even that good of a writer or even barely." I said to my best friend, well BFF, as she chose to put it.
I didn't care much for the title. It didn't taste good in my mouth but this was Meghan, the girl I'd known for all my life. I shouldn't have been surprised that she chose to give us such a title, I would have preferred her calling us as we were: cousins, but what did I know?
"What did she do now?" Meghan sighed, pulling out a book from her locker and shoving another into it.
"Nothing other than the ordinary." I said, doing the same.
"Meghan, babe. Ready?" Terra spoke from behind us. My shoulders tensed at the sound of her vile voice. Did she really have to be every freakin' place I was?
Meghan saw this and put a reassuring hand on my shoulder.
"Yes I'm done," She answered with a smile. I closed my locker, just as Meghan handed me a brown bag. "Your lunch." She said to me, with an even bigger smile."Making sure she doesn't starve herself again." Terra smirked. I could have said a lot of things just then, but I chose wisely not to.
"Thanks," I said instead, shoving it in my bag. "I'll see you last period alright." I said before I turned on my heels, completely ignoring Terra.
"Love you." Meghan called out.
"Yep." I said to her and headed for the food court.
"This stupid school is trying to kill us." Eddie, one of my close friends said, taking a bite of the burger he got from the serving area."It's disgusting."
I stared at him blankly, my mind still rambling over the fight with Terra in class. It had escalated after she'd called me a witch. I hated how she got to me, but that wasn't her fault. Anyone could get to me and that's what I hated the most, that words said, could haunt my mind from the time said till the time I actually did anything about them. I dug my nails into the table.
