Thirty Six

Next Morning

Adrienne

I woke up and looked around.I was alone in the bed and my head was pounding.I heard people talking from the kitchen and decided to get out of bed and get cleaned up.I showered,brushed my teeth and got dressed.I walked out of my room and saw everyone in the living room while Trey cooked in the kitchen.

"Mommy!"Xai ran over to me

"Hey sweet boy."I smiled

"You and Daddy are back together?"He asked

I cleared my throat."Um no baby."

"Why did he spend the night then?"He asked

"Mommy missed Daddy but we aren't back together okay."I said

He frowned."Okay."

I sighed and walked in the kitchen and saw Trey cooking breakfast with Ashton in his arm.

"Tremaine why is he so close to the fire?"

He turned around."He's fine baby I got him."

I grabbed Ash and kissed him.

"You good?"He asked

"Yeah im okay."I said

"I need to talk to you about what happened last night..."I said

"Okay what's up?"He said

"I don't want you to feel led on.Im not ready for all that."I said

He nodded."I can wait.I got time."

I slightly smiled.

"Thanks.Im gonna go get my things from his house."I said

"You need back up?"He said

I chuckled."Nah i think i got it."

"Alright come here."He said biting his lip at me

I walked over to him and kissed him.

"Mm"He groaned

"Stop before you get this snake again."He whispered

I blushed and grabbed my keys off the table.

"See you later.Okay?"I said

"Love you!"He said

"Love you more!!"I yelled walking out the door

I got in my G Wagon and headed towards Druex's house.I told him I would come by and get my things yesterday so I didn't pop up at the wrong time.I pulled up to his house finally and knocked on the door.He opened it and i saw cameras and lightning and microphones.

"Is this going on tv?"I whispered to him

He nodded."Come in please."

I looked at him and walked inside.He had been calling me non stop saying he wanted to talk so I decided why not do it while i get my shit.

"Your things are in that box next to you."He said

I looked over at it and nodded.

"So you wanted to talk?"I said

He looked at me and grabbed my hands.

"Listen I know I messed up big time but you know I love you baby.Please don't leave me over a stupid mistake."He said

"I don't want to leave you Druex.You just...what you said cut deep.I already have the world thinking of me as some gold digger but for you to say it.That really hurt me."I said as tears fell from my eyes

"I promise if you give me one more chance and leave Trey alone.I'll never ever hurt you again."He said

"I don't know.Im jus-

Then he got down on one knee.

"Druex..."I whispered with my hand over my mouth

"Adrienne Im in love with you and I want you to be my wife.We can have as many babies as you want and live together happily for the rest of our lives."He said and pulled out this beautiful ring

I sat in awe.He started to shed a few tears.

"Druex I don't know what to say..."

"Say yes please."He said

I sighed.I love him but im not sure about this.

"You aren't in love with me Druex.This isn't what you want.I know you."I shook my head

"This IS what i want."He said

"Stop it."I said quietly

"Adri-

"I have to go.I can't do this."I said and grabbed my box and walked out the house

He followed me.

"Baby...please."He said

"You don't want to marry me.You just want me back.I can see it all over your face.I can tell that you're really trying though.I just need to think about what I want okay?"I said

He put his head down in defeat.

"I understand.I love you alright?"He said

"I love you too."I said and drove off

I wanted some time to think.I had a decision to make...Druex or Trey.I called Apryl.She was my closest girlfriend so I knew I could confide in her and she would keep it real.

An hour later we met for lunch.

"So what happened last night?"She said as we sat down

"We had sex of course.Then I went to Druex's house to get my stuff and...he proposed."I said

"HE WHAT?"She said loud

"Shhh."I said looking around

"He proposed to you?!?I don't see a rock on your finger so I take it you said no."She said

"I didn't say anything...I don't know what I want."I said

"What is your heart telling you?"She asked

"Deep down I want Trey and I want to try to fix our family but I love Druex too and he asked me to marry him."I said

"You know what I think you should do?"She asked

"What?"I said

"Take a drive and whoever's house the road takes you to.That's who you choose."She said

I nodded.

After lunch i hopped in my car taking Apryl's advice.I drove and drove then finally I landed at my destination.This is what I want.I knocked on the door and he opened it.

"Hey baby.Im home."I said
