Chapter 22

I've been at the gym working out since 8am this morning. My body is completely sore but it's all gonna be worth it.

"Girl them nails are so nice where do you get them done?" I jumped out of my thoughts when I saw a girl beside me on the treadmill.

"Oh thank you, I go to Mia's Nailery on 5th ave" I replied with a small smile.

"Im Brittany, what's your name? Are you new around here ?" She asked.

"Oh no I've been living here my whole life , my name is Aaleeyah" I said

"Really? I have been living here my whole life too I've never seen you around here ever before but It's nice to meet you Aaleeyah" she smiled.

"Same." I simply replied. I had about 10 more minutes to work out and then I was gonna pick ava up from August's house. Turns out Brittany is a really cool girl it's always nice meeting new people I thought to myself. I was done my workout...I grabbed my water and was heading out before Brittany stopped me.

"Hey um I don't mean to keep bothering you or anything but im having this Halloween party October 31st, @ the king palace night club ..it starts at 8 come if you can and you can bring some friends along if you like." She smiled.

"Oh really? I haven't been to the club in a long time but I will come just to get out of the house" I said.

"Ok here's my number, I'll hook you up with some tickets" she said. We exchanged numbers and then I left.

I pulled up to aug's house at 4:00. I haven't seen him since I made him get out of my house when I found out he supposedly got Taina pregnant. I got out of my car and walked up to the door knocking a few times. He opened the door about 30 seconds after I knocked ...he looked at me like he was waiting for me to come in but I stood at the door waiting for ava to come out.

"So you just gon stand thea?" He said.

"What do you mean im waiting for my child." I said calmly

"Come in." He said

"No, can you just bring me my child" I said back

"Lee don't test me right na" he said with a little bit of anger in his voice. I stood there for a second and then I unfolded my arms and pushed passed him walking into the house.

"Aye quiet the fuck down my daughter is sleep!" he said through gritted teeth. I ignored him and made my way upstairs but he pulled me back pushing me up against the wall grabbing my wrist tightly.

"Look I don't know what all dis fuckin attitude is fa but Taina is not pregnant , she text me that because she knew I was wit you! Im not gon keep telling Ya ass ova and ova and ova again so if you don't fuckin believe me then fuck it! Im not gon keep kissing Ya ass!! You a grown ass woman act like it aight?!" He said looking me dead in my eyes.

"Let me go August you are hurting me!" I said as my voice started to crack.

"Im fuckin sick of you playing Dese games wit me Lee!!" He yelled gripping them tighter.

"August please let goooo!" I said as tears started rushing down my face. His face softened when he seen that I was crying he immediately let me go and wrapped his arms around me holding me tight .

"Im so sorry baybeh" he whispered as he kissed all over my face .

I cried "August please stop"

He continued to kiss all over me until I felt my legs get weak and I almost fell down but he caught me.

"Come on Lee , you can't drive home like this what's wrong wit you?" He asked as he carried me up the steps and laid me on his bed.

"I had been working out all day and I didn't eat." I said lowly. I felt very weak , my stomach was empty, my muscles were sore and my wrists were bruised. Without saying a word he got up going into the bathroom running the water in the bath tub, a couple seconds later he came out and stripped me out of my clothes. He kissed both of my wrists and then carried me into the bathroom gently sitting me down in the warm bath. I sighed and laid back with my eyes closed.

"Thank you so much" I moaned with my eyes closed because the warm water felt so good against my skin my muscles automatically relaxed. I washed up and got out about 25 minutes later , I came out of the bathroom and walked into his room with my towel on.

"Uhm aug I don't have any clothes here" I said softly causing him to look over at me.

"Damn um sit down Fa a second , lemme find you something" he said. I sat down on the bed , August was too busy looking for something for me to put on I laid back on the bed and started to doze off.

"Lee" I felt August tap me.

"Hhmm" i answered with my eyes closed

"Baybeh lift up so I can put these on you." He said with a long t shirt in his hands. I opened my eyes and sat up he had lotion and a new deodorant in his hand as well. He squeezed the lotion out onto his hands, removed my towel and started rubbing the lotion slowly all over my body. When that was done he opened the deodorant and rubbed it under my arms causing me to giggle. I quickly slid on the long t shirt and got into his bed pulling the covers over my body.

"So you just gon go head and take ova my bed huh?" He said smirking.

"Lay with me." I whined. He got in bed next to me wrapping his arms around me holding me until I drifted off to sleep...
