Chapter 30

Aaleeyah

"Lemme take you out"

I giggled "you sure ? Im a handful"

"That's what I got 2 hands for"

Me and Dre been on the phone for about 30 minutes talking. He's really sweet we've been talking for a couple days, I really enjoy holding conversations with him.

"So wassup?" He asked

"Yes you can take me out dr. Dre" I joked

"You like to play all day huh? Be ready tonight at 8 text me your address" he said.

"Ok"

"Oollll Mommy can I get this color?!" Ava squealed excitedly . We were waiting in the nail salon and they finally told us to pick a color.

"That's pretty mama" I said. We grabbed our colors and sat down where they told us to. I got a full set , while ava just got her real finger nails polished.

"Where you wanna go next ?" I asked her as we got into the car.

"Can I call daddy to see if he's at home?" She asked.

"Uht you trading on me?" I said as I pulled my phone out to call him.

"No mommy I just miss him"

"I was just kidding baby I know how much of a daddy's girl you are." I said. When I heard August say hello I quickly handed the phone to Ava. After about 5 minutes she handed me the phone back.

"He said he's home mommy" she said. I nodded and drove into the direction of his house. When we pulled up the door was already opened so we got out going inside.

"Wazzam" he said getting up from the couch and coming over to hug us both.

"Hi daddy" ava squealed

"Hey princess, I missed my lah pretty baybeh"

"I missed you more what are you doing here alone?"

"I was just Chillin what you gon keep me company"

"Can I mommy" Ava looked over at me.

"Sure baby" I smiled. Ava jumped up in excitement kicking off her shoes as she ran into the living room.

"what time you want me to come get her?" I asked

"She can stay da night I'll bring ha back either Saturday or sunday" he said. I nodded getting my keys out.

"Ava" I called out. "Come kiss me goodbye" she ran in and pecked all over my face repeatedly.

"I love you" she smiled

"I love you more baby be good" she nodded her head quickly. I made my way out the door as August watched.

"How was Ya day ?" Dre asked

"It was pretty chill. I got my nails done with my daughter and then took her to her dads house how was yours?"

"It was coolin I ain't really do much." He said. We decided on going to this fancy restaurant called Palace. We just got seated we've been here for about 20 minutes.

"So tell me all about chu" he said

"Well im Aaleeyah as you already know, Im 24 years old , I have my own hair salon, I was born and raised here , I have a 5 year old daughter , and that's pretty much it my life is pretty boring besides when im spending time with my child what about you?" I said scanning through the menu.

"Im Andre, I was born and raised in Philly but a nigga just moved down here for a lil bit for some business and Im 26 years old" he said looking up at me.

The waiter came over to us.

"Hi I'm monica, Im your server for the day what can I get you two to drink?" She said smiling mainly keeping her attention on Dre.

"What you getting Aaleeyah?" He asked me

"A raspberry tea"

"Get my lady a raspberry tea and a pepsi" he said. She wrote it down on her note pad

"Are you two ready to order?" She asked. Dre looked at me.

I nodded. "Can I have a 8oz steak, Caesar salad and asparagus"

"And for you ?" She looked at dre.

"10oz steak, garlic mashed potatoes and some mushrooms."

"Ok can I take your menu's your food should be out shortly" she said grabbing our menu's & walking away.

"You look so beautiful" he smiled giving me his full attention. This guy was honestly mouth watering.

I blushed and quickly covered my face. "Thank you"

"Why you always doing that?"

"What?"

"Always hiding Ya face when I compliment you. I don't be lying to you I be dead ass serious if that's what you think" he said as he swiped his tongue across his top lip which made me wonder what that mouth do.

"Idk i just do it" I said innocently. The rest of the night with dre was amazing. I never wanted to be the girl to start all over with someone new but I did and so far I don't regret it maybe this is what I need...something new.

"I enjoyed my night wit chu hopefully I can take you out again" he said as he parked in front of my condo

" of course you can definitely take me out again" I smiled. He got out the car and jogged over to my side letting me out and then He walked me to my door.

"Goodnight shawty" he said wrapping his arms gently around my waist pulling me into a hug.

"Goodnight dre" I said. We sat hugging for a couple minutes and then he let go leaning over and kissed my cheek. Definitely a night to remember.
