*2 weeks later*
Me & August have been having sex with Eachother nonstop lately. It's like I can't get enough of him. Besides all of the problems we are having and the whole taina being (allegedly) pregnant rumor we just continue to fuck.
"Morning baybeeh" August yawned.
"Goodmorning sleepy head" I said looking over at him.
"You going in da shop today?" He asked
"Yea, I have so many clients im all booked up" I said rubbing my eyes. August nodded and got up out of bed to use the restroom and as soon as he went into the bathroom his phone began to ring. Of course I picked it up seeing Taina calling I usually don't do this but I slid the bar over deciding to answer it.
"Hello" I said
"Who the fuck is this?" She yelled
"Bitch you know who it is. Stop calling his phone he's busy" and before she could say anything else I hung up placing his phone back down exactly how he left it. I got out of bed going into my closet to find something to wear. I decided on jeans , a hoodie and some uggs. Since I was gonna be pretty busy I wanted to dress comfy. After August came out of the bathroom I went in to do my hygiene. When I was all dressed I went to go call Mama Sheila so I could talk to ava.
"Helloooo" mama Sheila answered
"Goodmorning mama is ava woke?" I asked
"Goodmorning baby, Yea she's up" she called ava over to the phone.
"Hi Mommy!" Ava said excitedly
"Hey baby, what you doing ? Are you being good for Gmom?" I asked
"Im watchin TV , she's about to make me breakfast & im always good mommy." She said
"Ok baby. Im about to go to work do you wanna come to work with me now or do you want me to pick you up when I get off?" I asked her
"After you get off mommy" she said.
"Ok princess I'll see you later I love you" I said
"Love youuuu" she said and then the phone hung up.
I grabbed my car keys off my dresser and made my way downstairs to see August on his way out as well.
"You look good wit Ya lah mean ass" he smirked at me.
"Very funny, thank u." I said playfully rolling my eyes.
"Ima be home tonight ight?" He said looking at me. I nodded silently. He came over to me wrapping his arms around my waist hugging me tightly, he pecked my lips a few times and then we went our separate ways.
I got to the shop about 15 minutes later. After I parked I grabbed my belongings and made my way inside seeing my first client already waiting for me. Once I got settled in i motioned for her to come over to my chair.
"Goodmorning, how are you today?" I smiled as she sat down.
"Goodmorning , im good." She replied
"What are you getting done today?" I asked
"I honestly don't know. Im not really into the weave but this is gonna be my first time getting it I usually go natural but my niece referred me to you she says you can get me on Fleek the right way." The lady chuckled
I giggled. " she ain't lying. But just sit back and relax Ima hook you up with something nice." I smiled hooking the cape around her neck. About 20 minutes into me doing her hair summer & kayla came walking in all giggly im glad we are all back on good terms.
"Hey girls" I said
"Hey sexy thang"' kayla said rubbing her huge belly
"Hey chicka" summer smiled. We made short conversation while all of us were doing hair. I guess the day won't be as bad as I thought.
*7 hours later
3:30pm
I was drained from all of those clients I had today but the day went by fast. Now I'm on my way to get ava from Mama Sheila's. I arrived there at 4:30 pm I grabbed my purse and made my way to the door. I knocked and a few seconds later Chandra opened the door.
"Hey cutie" I said as I made my way in.
"Hey Lee" Cha said.
"Where everybody at?" I asked her
"Mama in the kitchen with the Taina thing, Ava is upstairs watching tv and the girls are with my mom." Cha said. I nodded and made my way into the kitchen with Chandra following behind me.
"Hey mama" I smiled
"Hey babyyy" she came over hugging me.
"You are glowing aaleeyah" she said
I smiled & thanked her. I kindly ignored the fact that taina was in the kitchen as well. She's claiming she's pregnant but she damn sure don't look like it I thought to myself.
"Well now that you're over here and I finally made up my mind about what I wanna do for my birthday I might as well spill the beans to Ya" mama Sheila said.
"Oh god , what are you tryna do for your bday mama." I said
" I wanna take a trip to Barbados...with the whole family." She said.
"I hope you're serious because im ready to show offfffff" I said excited. Cha agreed as well.
"Im very serious , everything is all planned out you have a week to get everything together we are leaving November 1st" she said. I nodded
"I'll be ready, but im gonna go I have to go home and make dinner." I said
"Alright bye baby" she kissed my cheek.
"Ima call you!" Cha Cha yelled out as I walked out of the kitchen.
"Avaaaa!" I yelled for her to come downstairs. She came running down the steps with all of her things.
"You ready?" I said. She nodded.
"Go tell gmom bye." I said and she ran into the kitchen. I grabbed her bags and we both made our way out the door.

"Mommy! Daddy's here!" Ava yelled from the living room as im assuming August walked in. I giggled at how excited she was and continued making dinner. Tonight we're having Salmon over buttered rice. Mhmmm😋.
"Hey baybeeh" aug said as he walked up behind me kissing my neck.
"Hey hey hey." I smiled.
"What you in hea doing?" He asked
"About to cook dinner you hungry?" I asked
"Nah I just came from da studio me & Chris had ordered chinese a nigga is full" he said sitting down at the island table.
"Ew chinese food is rats" I said.
"Well dat rat taste good as hell" he said
"You're disgusting." I laughed.
"Anyways did your mom tell you about this trip she planned for her bday?" I asked him
"Yea, ha ass talkin bout she wanna go to Barbados , she ain't gon do shit but complain about how hot it is once we get there" he said.
"Oh boy stop hating" I said.
"Fa real Lee you know how she get but ima let ha be great." He said.
For the rest of the night we just chilled. I love being in the house peacefully when it's just me, him and Ava. Everything feels so perfect and i wouldn't trade this feeling for the world. Despite everything, family comes first and our bond is unbreakable. We both have an understanding and August will always be mine ....A L W A Y S.😉
