It's been a month since me and August broken up. Me and Ava moved out about 2 weeks ago. Life has been peaceful for me especially because I finally got to talk to Ava and she understands that her mommy and daddy aren't together anymore but we both will always love her and be there for her. August and I never really talk unless it's about Ava. We have been getting along so far and hopefully it stays that way. Right now im in the shop I just got done my last client for the day I've been doing hair since 8AM this morning pretty busy day for Beauty&Dolls.

"Let me use Ya edge control bihh." Summer ghetto ass said walking over to my station. I haven't been hanging out with my girls that much butttt we are supposed to be going out to dinner after work.

"Here and don't use it up!" I said tossing it to her. I cleaned up my station and unlocked my phone sending August a text to make sure he picked Ava up from school. She's gonna stay the night with him tonight

Me: hey, Don't forget it's your turn to pick Ava up from school today!

August: don't worry Lee I ain't fa get about my lah babeh😘

I smiled at his reply and locked my phone grabbing my purse and my keys heading out the door after I told everyone goodbye. I hopped in my car heading straight home so that I could shower and get ready to go out to eat with my girlies.

*3 hours later

It was now 7:00PM and I was in the car making my way  Olive Garden. I got there in 30 minutes, I parked and got out walking inside. I immediately spotted summer and Kayla already seated I quickly walked over to them sitting my purse on the side of me as I sat down.

"Damn bout time Lee we was waiting on yo ass a bitch is hungry!" Summer said rubbing her stomach.

"Shut up im here now!" I said

"I missed you guys!" Kayla said smiling at us she had this beautiful glow to her.

"I missed you more So what's been uppppp!" I said looking at both of them waiting for one of them to speak.

"Ok ok ok! I can't keep this from you guys any longer but im a month pregnant!!!!!!" Kayla said excited. Both me and summer were really excited as well.

"Congratulations!!! Yes!!! I hope it's a girl this time." I squealed.

"Nah I think it's finna be another bad ass boy." Summer said

"Oh hush! But anyways me & DeSean are doing good once again, he's really excited about me being pregnant but his mom is the one who is upset about it." Kayla said sighing.

"What the fuck is she mad fo? That's backwards as fuck! She acting like you and DeSean don't already got a kid together!" Summer said.

"Right I agree." I said

"She thinks I'm trying to keep having babies by him for his money." Kayla said.

"Da fuck? Don't nobody want his damn money! You been had your own shit!! Oh well fuck her old ass." Summer said

"Summerrrr! Stop being so harsh!" I said looking at her. Kayla giggled.

"Nah forreal! What's up wit you doe?" Summer asked looking at me.

"Wellllllll, im actually doing really good im single, I have been single for a month. I moved out of August house taking Ava with me of course and we live in a nice condo I feel like I'm finally at peace." I said smiling.

"Girl!! Yo ass just like wasting money don't cha??? You and that nigga gone be right back together!" Summer said.

"Well you know lee As long as your happy im happy." Kayla said. I smiled.

"Now what's up wit you ms.crazy?" I asked summer.

"Shit been crazy lately. Mike been blowing my phone up constantly I kinda feel bad for ignoring him but it's for the better. Me and Justin are still doing good." She said

"Well did you tell him about you & the situation ?" Kayla asked

"N-no, I just wanna leave it in the past!" Summer said.

"Summerrrrrr!!! You have to freakin tell him do you not know how much worse you just made the situation ??? It's been a month for crying out loud!! You need to tell him!!!" I said in a serious tone. She just nodded her head looking as if she was in deep thoughts. Our dinner night went well we laughed , ate and took pictures of course. It's 10:00pm im just now getting home. As soon as I got in I kicked my heels off at the door. I went up to my bed room and laid across my bed pulling my phone out to Answering August's FaceTime call that was coming in. I sat up looking into the camera as it said connecting...

"Hi mommy!!!!" Ava squealed.

"Hi baby! What are you doing still up?" I asked her.

"Daddy said I can watch one more episode of Sofia the first mommy." She said.

"Oh did he?" I asked . She nodded her head really fast. August grabbed the phone getting into the camera.

"Wassam?" He said smirking

"August put my child to bed now she has school in the morning she is going to be sleepy!!" I said rolling my eyes.

"Keep Rollin em and ima hurt cha." He said licking his lips.

"Im serious turn the tv off August!" I said

"Ight ight ight!!!" He said. He gave Ava the phone as he went and turned the tv off.

"Goodnight princess i'll see you tomorrow after school ok?" I said

She nodded. "Goodnight mommy." She rubbed her eyes. August took the phone back after he showed me that she laid down.

"Ok now goodnight August." I said about to hang up.

"Goodnight babeh daddy love you aight ?" He said smirking

"Boy stop playing." I said laughing

"I ain't playing wit cha! I know you miss a nigga all up in em thick thighs." He said licking his lips. I almost fainted at how cute he was but I got myself together.

"Goodnight August." I said in a serious tone. He said it back and then I hung up. I got out of bed heading to shower. After my shower I cut all the lights off and got in my bed before I knew it I was out like a light.
