"Who was it?" she asks. "I-I don't mean to pry."
"My brother." It makes me feel so stupid to rethink it all.
"Your brother? You have a brother? Who?" Man, she's a curious one! I'm starting to see why Mabel wants her and Dipper together.
"Did Dipper ever show you that journal he found?" I whisper.
"Yeah, why?"
"Don't tell a soul."
"About the journal?"
"No, don't tell a soul, but my brother write those journals. Dipper's been looking for him-"
"Then, why don't you tell him?"
"Because I don't know if he's ever coming back."
"Where did he go?"
"Possibly another dimension. Honestly, I don't even know. He might be dead, but I believe he's out there. Somewhere."
"I believe he's out there, too."
"You do? How come?" These kids are rubbing off too much on me. I need a day off.
"I don't know. I just do."
"Hmm." She stares at me as if there's a gigantic bug on my face. I put my hand on my face, just to make sure. Nope! "Can I trust you?"
"Yeah," she kind of murmurs.
"Would you like to help me bring him back to Gravity Falls?"
