When morning came, I realized that I slept in the same position all night. No one else was up except for me and the sun was just starting to rise. I lay back down and starred out at the water. I was still so confused at what was happening. Why would they chain Liam and Malia up like that and why are they protecting me?
"Hey can you grab the keys next to Scott's hand." Liam asked groggily.
"Good morning to you too," I giggle.
I slowly made my way over to where Scott was sitting and grabbed the keys from next to his hand. Running back over to Liam, I unlocked the chains holding him to the wall as quick as possible.
"Thanks." Liam said, rubbing his wrists.
"I thought they were your friends."
"They are."
"Then why would they chain you to a freaking wall."
"How bout I take you to Starbucks for breakfast." He changed the subject.
"Fine," I responded, slightly annoyed.
The car ride there was filled with absolute silence. Liam seemed a bit more at ease driving this time than last night. Why would he be more relaxed though? Shouldn't he be even tenser because he escaped his so called "friends"? I decided that I needed to relax because Liam did promise me that he had an explanation.
We pulled up to the nearest Starbucks and got out of the car. Going inside, I realized that we were the only people in there.
"Do you want to order or do you want me to do it for you?" Liam asked.
"I can get this for myself. Thank you for the offer." I smile at him. For some reason he laughs at this and smiles down at me.
"Oh no, I'm paying. Just do you want me to order for you or no?"
I start to blush and feel this mix of embarrassment and...feelings? No, I could not have feelings for a guy I have just met.
"I'll say what I want."
"Okay."
We both walk up to cashier and look at the menu. It took me less than a minute to figure out exactly what I was going to get.
"Hi, can I get a Grande French Roast with crème and sugar, and a blueberry scone?" I ask the cashier.
He nods his head while typing it into the register, and then looks at Liam.
"I'll have a vanilla latte and jalapeño quiche."
Liam gave the cashier the money and we walked down to wait for our food. We stood there in awkward silence until I decided to say something.
"I never pegged you as a latte kind of guy." I smirked and he laughed.
"Well, I never pegged you as a scone kind off- oh who am I kidding. I totally pegged you as a scone kind of girl." This time we both laughed.
When we both got our food, we went and sat down at a booth in the back. My mind started to ponder upon all the things I wanted to know.
"Hey Amber, can I ask you a question?" Liam asked, ripping me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah, sure."
"Who all lives with you? You don't have to answer if you don't want." He rushed.
"No, no, its fine. My mom and I just moved in with my step-dad. I don't like him though."
"What's your step-dad's name?"
"James. James Bampira."
"Oh crap."

What's up guys! Happy Sunday! So none of you guys asked me any questions so you'll just get a story instead.
So there is this really cute boy at my church and today he was sitting behind me. I started texting my friend that he was and we came up with a plan to talk to him lmao. After service, the plan totally flunked and I started to talk to him with NO FREAKING PLAN. Any who, he's moving to be a missionary with his family soon and it made me really sad but it's actually pretty cool and he actually seems like a nice kid. So when we were done talking, he goes "I'll see ya later" like it wasn't like rude and apparently he kept staring at me after. but ya. Alright, talk later!
Xoxo, Ris
