Madness, helplessness, sadness, pain. They all flooded him at once, not giving him the chance to calm down as they dominated over his senses.
"Back off, don't touch me!" Though he hadn't meant to say it, his lips moved on their own, spouting anything to keep everyone's hands off him. He felt like he had no control over his own body, he recoiled at any touch meant for comfort, but he felt it was for otherwise. They did what they could, but they couldn't calm him down.
"Where the fuck is Sasuke when you need him!?" Sakura growled, once again using her phone to dial him. "You're his brother, don't you know where he is!?"
"I told you, he left early this morning. How the fuck am I supposed to know where he went!? Bastard literally kicked me awake and told me to lock the door behind him." Itachi angrily tugged at the roots of his hair as he texted his brother. He was shaking, scared, it seemed, as Naruto's outbursts grew louder and nobody seemed to be successful in quieting him down. The boy was in a state beyond calming, everything that touched him received a violent shove in return, threats spewing from his mouth as his brain and body seemed to be pulling up their defenses.
The doorbell rang once again and Konan was the one to answer this time. "Why are you not answering your phone?!" She asked as she threw the door open after looking through the peep hole.
"It's off, why?"
"Idiot! Quick, inside! Make yourself useful and help us." She grabbed the boy by the colar and dragged him inside, forcefully pushing him towards the living room while trying to keep her calm at the Uchiha's decision to turn off his phone.
Upon hearing the distressed boy, Sasuke rushed to his side. "Naruto? Naruto, what's wrong, Naruto?!" He placed a hand on the boy's back, a mistake on his part since Naruto was still panicking a lot more than he was earlier. The blond kicked him away before Sasuke could even try again. "What's...what's wrong?" He looked over to Kisame, whom the blond clung to, and then over to Konan.
"You tell us." Sakura crossed her arms. "Weren't you sleeping with him last night? Why is he like this?" She demanded to know.
"How am I supposed to know? I didn't sleep with him, I slept in Kyu's room because he was being weird!" Sasuke shouted towards the pinkette. "Naruto, love, what's wrong?" He said more calmly, walking over slowly once again.
Still sobbing, Naruto knew he had to reach out to him somehow. He extended his hand a little in an attempt to grab Sasuke's hand, but the glare of a certain someone fell on him, stopping his advance.
Everyone grew weary as Naruto continued for a few more minutes. After a while, Sakura was able to get Naruto off of Kisame as the boy was slowly drifting to sleep. All the sudden emotions and crying had tired him out. It pained her to see her friend this way, and for some reason, it looked like Naruto didn't want to close his eyes.
"I don't want to..." Naruto whispered, shivering a little. "He'll come for...me."
Sakura raised an eyebrow, looking over towards Kisame as he too, heard. Konan was over in the kitchen with Itachi, asking him why he would keep his cell phone off. The conversation carried on for a little bit, Sasuke getting irritated as they questioned what happened between him and Naruto that had gotten him angry. "He's acting weird, okay? He pushed me away, he's been like that since his birthday, and he won't tell me anything. That's why I got mad."
Itachi smirked at his little brother. "You're an idiot. Seriously? Getting mad because he won't tell you? Sasuke, how stupid can you be?"
"Shut up, as if you know anything."
"Know anything? Of course not, but have you thought about how hard it might be for him to say it? Little brother, you're a terrible boyfriend." He laughed, Konan smiling along as the younger Uchiha thought about it. "Oh, god. Anyways, I'm out."
