HOLY CRAP MY DUDES AIGHT SO I'M JUST GONNA BE HONEST WITH Y'ALL,, i hated how quickly I made everything happen in this story and i ruined the good idea I had... even though I wanted to continue it I refused to do so without rewriting those cruddy chapters and I didn't want to do all of that, so this story has been sitting in my virtual trash can for forEVER NOW. welcome back to the light, kiddo. here ya dude is tryin' to fix you up.

ANYWHO, y'all'll probably notice my writing change, bc I've changed a l o t. Honestly, I was probably a better author back then when I did it often, but now I'm less like,, edgy??????? So yeah, I've got that going for me. Also,, yes me older less edge-filled me started writing this chapter at the •••••••••• mark where they go to the river. The beginning is 201(5?) me okay okay thank you goodnight

(Btw rereading this is really trippy because all my stories are in first person POV now and oh boY THIS IS ODD)

Nephenee's POV

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

After nearly an hour and a half, the meeting came to an end.

Frodo Baggins, the ring bearer, had offered himself to go to Mount Doom and cast the cursed ring of Sauron into the scolding lava to destroy this madness once and for all.

Of course, Mithrandir and Aragorn offered to go with him.

So did Gimli.

And Peregrin Took, Meriadoc Brandybuck, and Samwise Gamgee, all close friends of the ring bear.

And Boromir, son of Denethor II, the steward of Gondor.

Those eight were brought together in what was then to be known as the Fellowship of the Ring.

"So it is settled. Your perilous journey shall begin at noon tomorrow. I advise you eight get plenty of rest tonight." Elrond suggested as he stood from his chair. Clearing his throat, Elrond brought his hands together, "Council is dismissed."

As soon as the words were spoken, the council rose (besides the Fellowship who was already standing), and broke off to discuss what was to come in their own little groups.

Nephenee, who is usually always filled with adventure, had not volunteered to go. She could not bring herself to nor had the desire to. She had something to stay for and had to explore more on that exact thing.

The young elf stood from her chair and tucked a strand of light hair behind her pointed ear. She saw Legolas eyeing her from afar as if he were studying if she would come to him or go somewhere else. Nephenee tipped her head just the slightest as a signal for him to follow. He left the side of his guards (who still remained puzzled as to everything that had went on) and quickly stepped over to her.

As they left the circle of chairs, Nephenee could help not but notice her ada staring with narrowed eyes. She shook off the glare and turned away, rounding a corner with her companion. They remained silent for quite some time as they strolled through the hallway away from the others.

"It's a shame." Nephenee murmured, breaking the silence between the two.

"What is?" Legolas questioned, shooting her a glance.
