Hey.

Has anyone told you how beautiful you are?

Now they have.

‼️TRIGGER WARNING‼️

Okay, so if you're wondering, in this story, Legolas has anxiety. That's why Aragorn was so worried about his friend being at the dinner. He does have anxiety attacks and they mostly occur whenever around a large group of people, whenever he feels nervous about something, if he feels super centered out in a crowd, etc. You get the point. If you feel uncomfortable with reading this because it may be a trigger, then I advise you might not continue reading.

Oh and for the record, yes I drew that, yes I know it's pretty bad, and yes I know it's not a lavender. It looks like a purple tulip, but hey, I tried.

Nephenee's POV

Knock knock.

Nephenee shifted in her bed.

Knock knock knock.

She parted open one eye and noticed a shadow under the door. The elf sat up from the chilled pillows and squinted to make out what time it was on the clock on the wall opposite from her. When she managed to get the time, her jaw dropped.

6:41! How?! She never slept past 5:30 a.m! Nephenee practically flew from the bed, ignoring the small moment where her vision went black and her head spun from getting up so quickly.

"Just a minute!" She called to whoever was waiting outside. She ripped some random white dress out of her closet, threw it on, and dug a brush through her curled hair. She didn't even bother putting it in a braid (which honestly felt unnatural).

She unwrinkled her dress and slowly made it to the door. She pulled it ajar.

It was him.

"Goodmorning." Legolas said with a smile. He glanced over her shoulder and into the room where he saw clothes strewn about and her covers mostly on the floor.

"Goodmorning." She responded, relieved that it was him and that she done rushing for a moment.

"Did I wake you?" He questioned which melted into an amused chuckle.

She looked behind her and quickly shut the door to block out the sight of her messy room. She cleared her throat, "No."

He rose a brow.

"I mean, there is a possibility."

Both brows.

"Yes, yes. I slept in late. I'm glad you woke me up. I probably would have slept through breakfast." She sighed and rubbed her face.

"That would have been beyond horrible. I would have had to explain everything by myself and if you haven't noticed, I don't really work well with.. Um.." He tried to find some way to explain what he meant but couldn't find the right words.

"People?" She asked, looking up from her hands.

The blonde Prince nodded and offered his arm which she gladly took with her own. "We should be off then. It's nearly seven."

As they walked down the corridor, Nephenee took notice of how barren everything was and how few of people she saw wandering the halls. "Where is all of the council?"
