Devil/Angel

He is lurking in the dark

Away from others sight

Hopping from tombstone to tombstone

Torturing yet another soul.

She is dancing in the light

Blinding others' eyes

With her sparks

Such an angel in disguise.

There, there, looks like table has turned

The devil has met the angel

Now here's a fairy tale to be told

Where fate has messed them both.

She is pure and innocent

When he, himself, is a satan

But fate has taken its part

In this story, so full of delight.

The devil doesn't like it one bit

When the angel pays him a visit

Bravely and stupidly takes a sit

In his lair, in the darkest pit.

The devil is outraged

And the angel is scared

But in the next page

He realizes he cares.

When the angel cries herself to sleep

The devil knows he shouldn't keep

Treating her like she's worthless

When her beauty has left him speechless.

But his black fire burns

As he touches her shoulder

Then his heart turns

He shouldn't have bothered.

The angel, though, embraces his touch

Like she is some melting ice

No, she's just missing

A touch so caring.

She leans in

And he doesn't mind

She's truly melting

Into his arms.

The sight of her

So peaceful and calm

So beautiful, so her

Wrapped in his arms.

The feeling he feels inside

Has truly messed him up

For as the beauty in sight

Has stolen his heart.

A devil, with the darkest heart men have ever known

An angel, with the emptiest soul of all souls

Have met, felt and loved each other

And they've found happy ever after

With one another.
