I didn't plan for it to happen
But by God, I'm glad it did
Because since the first time we've spoken
I knew that we just clicked.
We hit it right away
As if we've known each other from the beginning
Talking from day to day
Until I realized what was happening.
I was falling
And I fell hard
Partly dying
But have never felt so alive.
But I can't fall for the temptation
It's just a dream that's too far away
Because we have limitations
And that's okay.
If friends are what we are best
Know that I'm glad we are
If non-lovers are what we are best
Then I'm glad that we are.
