If you've read this series since book 1, then you should know that the 1974 classic "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" is a big part of my life! Ever since I watched it, I never stopped watching or mentioning it! My dad has a chainsaw, but he won't let me anywhere near it ever since I told him I watched the movie. I'm not capable of murder, I guess.

The thing is, I love horror movies in general. They're one of those movies that don't only focus on love. And since I love horror movies, obviously I love the antagonists. Jason, Chuckie, you know all that. However, the number one villain; THE GREATEST ONE YET, Leatherface.

Then I realized, I need to do something out of the blue. I had to speak with my biological sister tomorrow. A week passed by that fast. Liam and I are really close friends, but still no fling yet. I really didn't wanna talk to my sister, but at the same time I didn't wanna tell her. If I go, I'd tell her all the crap she put me through. Those days where I just wondered off in the world trying to find myself.

So, to get out of talking to her, I called everybody, even Liam, for a meeting.

"Guys, I have an announcement to make!"

Cherry was eagerly excited.
"Are you dating Liam?! Because he's here!"

I kinda felt embarassed.
"No, we're going on a ROADTRIP tomorrow!"

Everybody's excited, but then Morgan remembers my problem.

"Don't you have to talk to your sister tomorrow?"

"I do, but you see, I don't want to talk to her. She's just gonna remind me of the pain I had when I was younger, and we all don't wanna remember our dark pasts, am I right?"

Everybody nodded.

"Great. So tomorrow, we're taking the van and we're going to Newt, Texas."

"Why there?" Bea Bianca probably knows why.

"Tomorrow is the day that Gunner Hansen, the man who played Leatherface in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, died 10 years ago. I wanna revisit that area and see if there's an actual Leatherface today!"

"But didn't they say that it was all fictional and it's just based on this other murderer?" Cherry seemed confused.

"True, but who knows? Someone could be Leatherface hiding in the Texas back woods right now. And I wanna see this person! So pack some stuff because we're leaving exactly at 8:30 in the morning. Questions?"

Audrey raised her hand.
"What if we die?"

"Trust me, honey. We're not gonna die. We're practically impossible to kill."

It's finally the day where we have our roadtrip!

I'm only bringing snacks and blankets just in case we make a pit stop. Cherry has volunteered to drive since she is one fast driver. She can make a 9 hour drive a 2 hour drive! I wonder if she can speed up the packed Van.

We all got in the van. We picked up Liam at the site and then we were off. All I could say was that this van was big. It's a Dodge Caravan, so of course it could fit all seven of us. The drive was smooth and fun. We played games like "truth or dare" or "the quiet game" app from 76. Then cherry made us all laugh with her weird life stories.

"Cherry, do you ever plan to have a boyfriend?" Marissa asked.

"Yeah... I don't think so." Cherry didn't seem interested.

"Why not?"

"Because, boys today won't be able to understand why I'd rather spend all my time with you guys than them."
