Putting my problems aside, and gonna focus on my family. And I'm talking about the family that stood by my side no matter what. Audrey has been so happy lately. Literally, she was in a very good mood every day. She was willing to cook me my favorite type of pancakes (3 stacked pancakes all shaped like Princess Leia with butter and syrup with a side of oranges) without complaining.

"Audrey, is there something you're not telling us?" I tried to get her to crack.

"Oh, is it obvious?"

"Well, yeah. It's very obvious."

"Well, Jen. I think I'm finally gonna leave single lane!"

"OMG SHUT UP!" I was actually excited to hear about that!

I mean, she hasn't had a boyfriend since Tristan, which was only a few years ago, but seems longer than you think.

"Jen, this could be my love life's big break!"

"How old are you, 34?"

"32!"

"Oh yeah, oops".😅

"This guy I've been talking to on my ask.fm wants to meet tomorrow!!!"

"You're talking to a guy on ask.fm?"

"Yeah..."

"Well, at least you found a guy."

"I know!! I'm gonna bake him my special chocolate chip cookies. You know, so we could talk and not starve at the same time."

"Clever."

"Right? I gotta get my hair done, pick out clothes, figure out what to say, and--"

"Audrey, this is only the first time you're meeting. Don't look SO committed into this 'relationship'"

"You're right."

"I'm always right."

"You weren't right about my age."

"That's different!"

"Jen, I'm gonna let the rest of the day pass, and hopefully, he and I could talk today."

"Ohh. I got you."

She smiled and walked away to her laptop to check her ask.fm.

"JENNNN!!!"

"What?"

"He replied!!!"

"Ok."

"Oh cmon I know deep inside you you're excited about it."

"Okay, maybe I am."

I skipped over to where she is and the guy she is talking to is indeed willing to meet her.

His exact words were:
"Can't wait to meet you tomorrow"

well. Way to go Audrey. You finally found yourself a new man.

•the next day•

Audrey was all glammed up. She looked cute. This guy would have a loss if he wasn't interested in her.

"You look great," I complimented.

"Thanks. I can't wait to meet him." She was as happy as a dog getting their food bowl.

Audrey's Point Of View

Audrey here. And I'm actually excited to meet my mystery guy. Jen always told me to watch out because this guy could be cat-fishing me or something. I always thought Jen could be right, but then I thought, Jen could be wrong.
