I spent a week beside Mom and Dad just like the old times. Just like the pictures displayed on our living room. The tube in his nose were removed. He still look very sick but he is happy. I did my best to remember all the good times and tell dad all those memories. He laughs, mom laughs, and we are back to being a happy family.

After a few months, I always go home every week to check on them. One night in December, I came home with all the presents I bought for them. I will work on Christmas for a special project and I won't be home for thanksgiving. I parked outside and went straight to the foyer.

"Mom? Dad? I'm home."
"Yes, we're here." I heard dad from the masters bedroom

I went inside the room and hugged them. Dad became weaker and now staying in bed often. I sat beside them and we celebrated a little thanksgiving.
