"What are you looking at?" I asked Christian.
He looked down, so I turned around.
I was graced with her in my beautiful sight. I went to get up, but Christian stopped me.
"Andrew don't."
I frowned. She probably still hates me and if I go to her now who knows what I'd say anyway. I simply didn't care.
"But Christian.." I said as I hesitated to sit back down.
"Give her some time man. It has not been that long, and you & I both know the woman is a pistol. And I really don't want to get caught in the crossfire."
I was messed up and confused.
Torn and defeated.
I took one more glance at her when the young red-haired girl turned and looked at me. She smiled and waved. I politely waved back.
She looked at Clarissa then back to me knowingly, smiled and mouthed SOON.
I wasn't sure what that meant exactly, but I smiled because maybe the girl would help me with the very stubborn. And very beautiful Clarissa.
