I need synthetic emotion
I can't make my own
cold empty inside
no heart, no soul
you can look all you want
there's nothing to find
I used to be human
then parts of me died
                              replaced with worn alloy
wires and gears
I need synthetic emotions
because there's nothing there
                              a words of a song
stroke of a brush
fill me with emotion
until its too much
                              until I short circuit
until I glitch and overload
then patch me together
then make me whole
                              can you give me life
like wooden Pinocchio?
kill me so I can breath
I don't want to die before I'm cold
fill my heart until its bleeds
give my soul just what it needs
break me so I can know
what real emotion feels like
give me something solid that I can hold
