Chapter 6:
We woke up around 9 o'clock; the girl was right, the sun doesnt appear it's just the stars getting brighter. We get out of bed and make breakfast.
There isn't much food so we had eggs, bacon, and water. I look outside to see a bunch of roses all over the field, it was strange. We decided to go outside to investigate after we ate,
"What if it's dangerous?" Elena questioned as we stood on the porch, looking onto the field.
"Then we run? Lets throw something and see what happens" I respond. I go to grab a branch from one of the trees, I throw it. Nothing happens. We walk onto the field and the rose petals start to become dull. They made a path to the bridge, me and Elena looked at each other in suspicion.
"We arent supposed to go near the bridge, remember?" Elena says as she sees me walking down the path. I ignored her, she started to follow behind me.
"Wait Alyssa, there are people over there" Elena points, I look up to see two figures, they are looking straight at us.
"Oh shit." Shes says as she backs away.
"Hi!" One of the figures yelled from across the river. It sounded like a boy. The other one waved.
"Alyssa what do we do?" Elena whispers while we wave back.
"I don't know, these must be the voices we heard last night. " I said quietly.
Elena's eyes widen,
"Sorry but um, we really need to go." She yells over as she grabs my hand to leave.
"Wait, why are you in a rush? Please talk with us, we haven't seen normal people in a while. This is Henry and I'm William, but you can call me Will."
"Im sorry but we aren't aloud to cross the bridge." I said back.
"Why not? Theres nothing wrong with the bridge," one of the guys went to the bridge and started to jump "See? Perfectly safe."
"Uhm, I'm sorry we really can't." I said looking at Elena, she nodded her head in agreement.
"Fine." He looked at the other guy and motion his hand to follow. They both crossed the bridge and came walking toward us. "We will just come to you."
"Oh gosh, Alyssa lets go." Elena said running back as she pulled my arm, I ran with her.
"Wait stop running, why are you so scared!?" Henry yelled.
"Elena, what if they are nice, what if they can help me find out what I'm missing?" I stopped running.
"What? What if they are trying to trick us? This isn't safe, we need to go back!"
"But they'll follow us anyways! Lets just tell them to keep a distance. I turned around to see William and Henry running to us.
"Stop!" They both came to a stop. "We can talk but from a distance! Go back across the river!"
"What, really!?" William questioned. I put my hands on my hips and tapped my foot impatiently. They both went across the bridge, we stood infront of them, getting a good look at each other. Both are teenagers, they honestly look good.
Both have grey eyes but William has light brown hair and Henry has dark brown hair. Henry is taller than William, but both seem taller than us.
"What are your names?" William asked.
"I'm Jackie and this is Emily. How old are you guys?" Elena responded.
They looked at each other before answering. Henry shrugged,
"We dont know our actual age, we just assume 16."
"Oh, well we both are 15." Elena said as she sat down on the grass, I followed her action. After we sat down, both the boys looked at each other and also sat down.
"How long have you guys been here for?" I asked.
They looked at each other, William shrugged,
"We dont know, but we've always been here."
"Do you two usually look at each other before you answer a question?" Elena blurted.
They resisted the urge to look at each other then said no at the same time, Elena and I laughed.
"Why are you laughing?" Henry smiled while looking at Elena.
"Because you guys are silly."
I laughed at her response and we all just giggled for a moment. I think the boys were just laughing because we were laughing haha.
After a while of talking and getting to know each other a little better, we told the boys we should be getting back to the cabin soon. We still have to meet with the girl.
As we were about to walk away, Henry turned around,
"Excuse me but do you two want to come for lunch?"
"Well.. Im not sure if we have time." Elena replied. Henry looked disappointed for a second but quickly looked up when she began to speak again "But I don't know, Al-Emily, what do you think?"
I pulled Elena to the side,
"I dont know when the girl is coming back, she never said. What if she comes while we are gone? What if she gets mad?"
"Try to contact her again, didn't you say you could hear her in your head?"
"I'll try but I don't know if it will work." I closed my eyes and tried to concentrate.
"Hello?" No response. I tried again.
"Hello, are you there?" I waited a few seconds and still heard nohing.
"Hey, where are you? When are you coming? Can you hear me?" I waited again. I was about to give up when I heard a voice.
"Hello? I think I just heard you, say something again." I hope this is working.
"Where are you right now?" The girl responded quickly.
I didnt want her to know about William and Henry so I lied,
"We are in the cabin. When are you coming?"
A few seconds later I got a response,
"I wont be coming for a while, I got
caught up in something. Ill see you around 8 o'clock. Dont leave that cabin." She said with an intimating voice, after that I heard nothing else.
I turned around to the boys, "Yea we can go, but we can't stay for long."
"Great!" Henry said excitingly. We walked behind the boys, following them.
Elena looked at me,
"What happened, what did she say?"
"She said she won't be back until 8, we have time." I whispered. This should be interesting.

i am sooooo sorry for last chapter having so many "ands", i was tired and didnt bother checking my work. sorry i promise ill be more careful with that, i hate it when i read something with so many "ands". i apologize, i hope this chapter makes up for it:)
