Chapter 8:
(picture above is just a random castle)It started to get dark outside and the girl still wasn't here. The roses across the field were gone, we forgot to ask the guys why they were there. So many questions yet we forgot to ask them, how did we forget to ask them? I looked over to Elena as she slept on the couch with a blanket covering her. I let her sleep, I told her I'd wake her when the girl came.
I sat on the counter looking outside at the field. Who did this cabin belong too? Why did the crazies want us? What is going to happen tomorrow? What if the girl found out we left, what would she do? I can feel my eyes getting heavy, I hope she comes soon.
I finally give in, deciding to let sleep take over. I go grab another blanket from the room and join Elena on the other couch to rest. If the girl comes, I'm sure she'll wake us up.

I suddenly wake up to a loud bang, jumping from the sofa. I look at Elena and she is also awake, I get up walking over to the side window. I peek through the curtain and see William so I open the door.
"Hey come in." I say taking a step aside for him to enter. He stays put, looking around the house. He looks sad, I hope we get Henry back.
"Alright." He says stepping into the house with caution, he looks around as he sets a bag on the table. He walks over to the bedroom with the bunkbeds while Elena and I follow.
"What are you looking for?" I ask standing behind him.
He doesn't answer and looks around the room with sorrow. Was this place familiar to him? It must be.
"Will, did you live here?" Elena questioned.
"Yes." He answered with his head down looking at the toys on the rug.
"What happened? Who else lived here with you?"
"Henry and my older sister, Adaline used to live here. But then we lost Adaline to those evil creatures. She was the one thing that kept us motivated and gave us hope. We became lost souls and we couldnt live here anymore, so we left." He closed the bedroom door and stood infront of Adaline's door, not opening it.
Elena and I looked at the poor boy, he swung his arm around his body as his head faced the floor. I walked over to him about to give him a hug but he quickly shrugged it off.
"Alright, its in the past and there's no changing it. Lets get going so I don't have to lose another person." He said opening the bag he brought.
"I have a plan," He takes out a bottle along with other stuff "but you two need to keep it together no matter how difficult it gets, can you do that?"
I looked over to Elena to see her nodding her head."Yes."
"Okay good." He said checking to make sure he had everything.
Elena and I went to the room to grab our boots. When we got in, she started to whisper,
"What about the girl? Did she ever come?"
"Oh my god I forgot all about her." My eyes bulged and my hands covered my mouth.
"What should we do?" She asked sitting on the bed. We both stopped for a moment to think.
"I'll try to contact her again." I said trying to focus.
"Hello? Are you there?" After the second time trying I finally got her, it was becoming easier.
"I know I didnt go last night, I was dealing with something very important. I wont be able to see you again today, but tomorrow yes."
"What? Are you serious this time? And why is it everytime we talk, you seem to be in a rush?" I asked, what if she actually comes today instead?
"That is non of your concern, I'm very busy. I am sure of it though, you will see me tomorrow." Her voice suddenly went harsh, "Remember. Do. Not. Leave. That. Cabin."
"Why?" After that I got no response.
I looked over to Elena, who was already staring at me.
"She isn't coming until tomorrow." I said putting my boots on.
"What a coincidence." Elena left the room ready to go. I hope everything works out well.
I finish tying my boot laces and head out to the kitchen.
"Will? How are we going to get Henry back?" I asked putting on my sweater.
"We need to go to Ravana, that is where the crazies live. Ravana is a place you'd ever go, but in this case we must. It is an old, abandoned castle surrounded by moutains surrounded by dark waters. Its always dark and death is everywhere." He through his bag over his shoulder as we followed him out the door.
"What is the plan?" I asked, putting my hair into a ponytail.
"We'll need to walk up the moutain but not on the trails, we stay away from the trails. Thats one place they'll catch you. We will get to a landing at the top, but it isn't safe there either. No one has ever made it up past that point."
"How do you know this?"
"From stories I've heard."
"Well we are gunna die. Im not too convinced with this plan" Elena stated, looking up.
"And why not?"
"Because you arent even sure about Ravana yourself, you've only heard stories."
"Well its all we've got if you want to save Henry. Ill explain more on the way also, but for now we walk. It isn't that close, we need to follow the river for now."
"Don't they want me and Elena? What if we all get captured?" I was also doubting this plan.
"We have hope. Hope overcomes fear and we need to see what will happen."
"So you are basically just winging this whole situation?""Well, sort of. Not really. I am pretty positive things will be okay."
"Oh god, we are going to be captured or maybe even die, you're right Elena." I said smiling, trying to lighten the mood a bit. What we were doing was crazy, but it was the only way we could safe Henry.
