In the time of need, people need something to rely on. Religion is a crutch. It's there to fall back on. You won't have to be an adult and fix it yourself, you can ask for it to be fixed. It's all based on needs. The con artists who came up with religion, put all this stuff to feed the needs of people. Wouldn't you try to fool billions upon billions of people? It's all for endorsement and to make people have an emotional roller coaster. It's strange, when something good happens, God did it. When something bad happens, Satan/Lucifer/Beelzebub/Sin caused it. Take your pick. Just ignore the stuff that the bible said he did. God is loving.
