The Origin of the Human Species

According to the Bible, the Earth was created in 6 days and seventh was rest. God created man on the 6th day. He says, "Let US create man in OUR image." Many questions are brought up here. First, who is us? Who knows. Second, God creates Adam along with the earth in six days, yet has to take a Rib from Adam. Why? With this, there were only two people. If there re only two people at one point, that would need copious amounts of inbreeding, which we know causes severe mutations to the human body and/or genes. How come now when a family inbreeds, we see deformations? You're going to tell me that we can inbreed for thousands of years, and just now see deformations?

In science, genetics that is, we can see that over a span of millions of years, humans have developed in a very different way than creationism. Humans have evolved from pond scum. Of course to the simple minded, it sounds bizarre, but when you actually research the topic, it makes sense. Richard Dawkins has written many books on evolution. He has had many interviews on this subject and has said that someone who says evolution doesn't make sense, has put no effort into researching the subject. With this, I completely agree. We have, and still are, evolving. Creationists always say "Evolution isn't true, because I can't see it." This is half true. You can't see major evolution, but you can see micro evolution, the change in cells or viruses. Macro evolution however, takes millions and millions of years to proceed.

Creationists have a far fetched theory for how life began. The believe that an invisible sky tyrant has always existed, and not until recently, got lonely enough to create the universe. All of this makes sense? An omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent being only creates two people and doesn't have them document their existence? Adam and Eve have kids, one kills the other and moves away to marry a non existent woman. Doesn't even let his presence be known? Okay, whatever floats your Ark. Yep, next part is about the fabled Ark. Ah, Noah's Ark. Two of every animal on a 300 cubits by 50 cubits by 50 cubits long ship. The penguins walked all the way from Antarctica to the Middle East to get on a ship. Lets see, an elephant weighs 6,000 pounds each, so 12,000 pounds, a penguin weighs 84 pounds each so, 168 pounds, a lion weighs 420 pounds each so, 840 pounds. This is already 13,008 pounds, and that's only 3 animals out of hundreds. Then food, how did they survive with this little of food? Animals eat a lot.

The story line continues and life goes on. Why do people believe these fables? Simple, it goes along with their beliefs. Why not? The only problem I have is, don't try and enforce your religion. What I mean by this is, don't force it on people or government. In America, this will violate separation between Church and State. The founding fathers specifically forbid this.
