The Christianity religion was spread through many years of guilt and shame. A lot of the time it was beaten into people as seen in the early years of America. Since then, Christianity has gotten better ideals on how to get you to believe. They start to teach you from birth. They give you baptisms and force it down your throat. After years of questioning, I just decided to see what life was like without god. It was an addiction, first came the curiosity, then came the knowledge, then came the absence of god in my life. I was full-fledged moral atheist. Life has been great. This isn't forced down your throat. Most people will let their kids choose. That's great to do. Many, many, many people differ. Knowledge is acquired. Sure, it can be taught, but it is up to the child to take it in and keep it.
If every Christian put an ounce of research into their religion, there would be way more atheists. Studies have shown that more and more teens have been fleeing religion. Coincidence? Not really, With phones, we can look anything up with some navigation and brain activity. I am honestly not surprised about this. A lot of kids now days are precocious. It's wonderful to live in the 21st century. If religion ever fades away, we will have less battles, we will focus on science, and further our progress on problems.
One of the main ways people adapt to Christianity is, they see a crap ton of people are Christians. It scares them. They think since so many people are Christian, it must mean it is true. I think this is why i was Christian so long.
