Mrs. Chanse was just really shocked at my brief explanation of what I was going through. We all sat in silence just trying to appease ourselves to the ununited words I just spoke. Des was especially surprised, realizing that she just met this crazy 17 year old. Kayla on the other hand.. In my opinion, on the outside she appeared surprised, but on the inside I think she knew I was telling a true story, but Mrs. Chanse.. that women was in shock so bad I think we needed the nurse to bring her out of that internal, mental coma. "S-So you're telling me, that you think you're a dog..?" I shook my head and returned to speaking. "No, not a dog. A wolf. A ferocious wolf." The counselor just was amazed at my words. "Hold on." she replied.

She reached for the phone on her desk that I knew was barely used seeing the condition it was in. She used the buttons on the phone to call someone. I leaned towards Kayla and Des, but looked at Des to whisper "I wonder who she's calling." I saw the guy who I had my physical affair with from the other night walk by and bite his lip seeing me. I shook my head and rolled my eyes at him, then back at the counselor. "Well? Who is coming over here?" I asked Mrs. Chanse. She hesitated for a second then replied. "I called in the nurse to take a blood sample of you to see if this nonsense is true in your blood. You're not scared of needles are you?" I shook my head side to side to answer her question. "What is taking a blood sample going to do?" I asked slightly furiated. "Well, it'll give us the truth on if you're different in a supernatural way." I growled on the inside. Was she saying I was lying? I came in this office to find help, not to be a test for biologics. "But, Mrs.. I'm telling the tru-".

The nurse walked in with a clean, well-maintained needle and gloves. The counselor pointed at a door that led to another office looking at the nurse, then at me. "Go into the other office and take her blood. I don't want students to look through the windows and get riled up." The nurse walked in there and I followed her. She closed the door behind me when I walked through the doorframe. I sat in the chair against one of the walls, and the nurse made sure the needle was steralized. "Have you done this before?" I asked calmly. It took the nurse a second to reply. "Yes, but not on a student at school. These are used for emergency purposes." She walked towards me and asked if I was ready, and I agreed bravely. She took my arm and poked it in the middle of my arm, slowly taking blood. "This will only take a minute." She said to calm me down, even though I wasn't worried. After a few seconds, she pulled it out and set the needle container full of my blood on the tray it was originally on. I looked down at my arm seeing a small hole from the needle, then seconds layer it was gone. It was completely healed in a matter of seconds. I freaked out, knowing the nurse needed to wrap it up after poking a hole in my arm, but there was no hole to cover up anymore. The nurse turned around to pursue wrapping my arm, but she dropped the wrap in amazement. "W..where is the hole?" she asked scared in a way. "I...I don't know. It healed seconds after you took the needle out." I said hesitantly. She shook her head and still saw there was no needle hole. She got her supplies and opened the door, letting me out first. "All done" the nurse said worriedly. I walked back to Kayla and Des, sitting by Des, but she sorta scooted over in fear. I looked over to talk to her, but she wouldn't bat an eye at me. I felt some sadness in my heart, but I physically acted like it was okay. Kayla looked over to see my expression change from confused to plain sadness. She grinned but she knew she couldn't say anything to expose anything. I continued to talk to the counselor. "Do you feel fine?" the counselor asked before continuing on to my other problems. I shrugged and answered back with a hesitant "yeah. I'm good.", when in reality, my heart was burning on the inside from Des's action to me.
