I Cant Cope

Part 13

(Luke's Pov)

Ashton fell asleep on me about a half hour ago and was still asleep.

I wonder if Mikey and Cal are still looking for us. 

I started getting bored so I began to sing.

"Hello there the angel from my nightmare
The shadow in the background of the morgue
The unsuspecting victim of darkness in the valley
We can live like jack and Sally if we want

And we'll have Halloween on Christmas
And in the night we'll wish this never ends

I cannot sleep I cannot dream tonight

This sick strange darkness
Comes creeping on so haunting every time
And as I stared I counted
The webs from all the spiders
Catching things and eating their insides
Like indecision to call you and hear your voice of treason

I paused and heard someone start singing along catching me by surprise.

I looked down to find Ashton staring into my eyes with a cute smile.

"How long have you been awake?" I chuckled.

"Long enough to hear you singing." Ashton smirked, and unlike all the smirks I have seen since I have been here Ashton's is the best.

I smiled down at him before placing a kiss to his forehead.

"Ash, do you think that the Mikey and Cal will find us?" I asked.

"Yes. Niall and I were supposed to meet at Starbucks.... But before Niall showed up Silas dragged me into a van.." Ashton said sadly.

"I'm sorry Ash. You shouldn't be here..." I said avoiding eye contact.

Ashton grabbed my chin and forced me to look at him.

"I'm glad I'm here. Yes it hurts being here, but what even more is getting pictures of you in pain with bruises and scratches all over you. It hurt knowing I couldn't be here to hold you when you need me. I would much rather be here with you so you're not alone in this." Then with that Ashton connected his lips with mine.

We stayed that way for a few seconds before pulling away.

"I can't wait to get home." I said truthfully.

"I know Lukey, I promise we will." Ashton's said while hugging me.

We heard the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs and Zayn came down seeing me and Ash hugging.

Zayn's face grew angry and he ripped Ashton out of my grip.

I jumped up and tried running to Ashton but Zayn grabbed my arm before I could reach Ash.

"Let me go! Let me go!!" I screamed while thrashing in Zayn's grip.

"You will shut up if you want Ashton to stay alive." Zayn snapped.

I froze and looked over to Ashton who looked completely terrified.

"Now. I have word that your friends are coming to save you two. And you know i can't let them save both of you, so pick who will go." Zayn said.

"I'll go!" Ashton shouted.

"Ashton, no! Zayn don't listen to him, please!" I begged.

"We'll let Silas decide, yeah?" Zayn asked.

I nodded figuring Silas will pick me over Ash.

"Silas! Come here please!" Zayn shouted.

"Luke! No Luke, please no!" Ashton cried. It broke my heart to see him so upset.

"I'll be fine Ash." I whispered as Silas walked in.

"Yes Zayn?" He asked curiously.

"Who would you like to keep?" Zayn asked tightening his grip on my arm.

"Hm. Ashton was pretty nice.." Silas trailed off.

"NO! Keep me! Please I don't care what you do to me! Just don't take him!" I screamed.

"Silas, come hold Luke." Zayn ordered.

Silas walked over and grabbed my wrists and holding them behind my back.

Zayn then walked upstairs for a few minutes.

When Zayn had returned he had in hand some rope, a cloth and some duct tape.

He proceeded to walk towards Ashton who was shaking his head frantically.

"No. No no no n-" Ashton was cut off by the tape being slapped over his mouth. Zayn the ties his wrists and ankles together before tying the cloth around his eyes.

Silas then threw me to ground as Zayn carried Ashton up the stairs despite Ashton's thrashing.

"We will be back later Luke."
