Chapter Twenty "Annoyed"

"What's in the maze?"

"Nothing love."

"Tell me. I want to know."

"The only thing you need to know is to not go in there."

"Why?"

"Stop asking questions."

Avery has been keeping this from me all day. I haven't told him about the girl I saw. But I think he knows who she is.

"Avery please tell-"

"Just shut the fuck up." He growled through clenched teeth.

"You can't keep things from me. You should know very damn well about me since you kidnapped me. And probably stalked me ever since I was little. I am not going to just cower like a puppy and-" I stopped talking when I saw his red eyes glaring at me.

If looks could kill. I would be dead.

"Your eyes are red." I pointed out.

"I need-." He jolted a bit. His fangs coming into view.

Oh hell no!

I ran. Not a few seconds later he grabbed a chunk of my hair and I was against his chest.

"Stop!" I was struggling trying to get out of his grip. But he was to strong!

Bending my head to the left, he immediately sunk his teeth into my neck.

My knees buckled, he caught me but continued to suck my blood. Everything was going dark. Grabbing something and tightly squeezing, I let out a cry of pain, it hurt so bad. The pain ended and so did my sight. I passed out.

Why did I have to annoy him?

~*Avery's POV *~

He tasted so good. I couldn't help it I had to have more.

My lover grabbed my arm tightly squeezing and let out a cry. His body fell limp.

Removing my teeth from his neck I licked my lips and his neck.

That was going to leave a bruise.

I picked him up bridal style and carried him to our room. Laying him down, I began to strip him to put some night clothes on.

Taking off his shirt, I traced the scars on his skin. Looking up at his face my expression softened. He was beautiful. He looked like an angel.

Going back to removing his shoes and shorts I noticed more scars on his thighs. He wore a pair of loose red plaid boxers. I took off his socks. Throwing all his clothes into the hamper, I went to the closet and got a pair of sweat pants and loose white t-shirt.

Walking toward his sleeping figure, I put his clothes on him.

Taking off my shirt I left on my pants.

Laying down I wrapped my arms around him and cuddled him against my bare chest.

His tiny frame moved around a bit and wrapped his arms around my neck.

His head against my my neck.

I breathed in.

Hold it together.

Letting out a long sigh. I pulled him close and fell asleep.

His blood calling my name.
