Chapter 37 - Mike's Pov

"Mike I want my Galaxy back!"Zanobia cries.

"Why baby I thought you liked your new phone."I said while walking over to her.

"Baby it's just too much going on and I'm scared as hell to drop this thing it already has a scratch on it."She said while pointing out the small crack in the corner of the screen.

"See and I just got it last week!"She said putting the phone down.

"Just calm down Nobia if you would've let me helped you when you first got it we wouldn't be having this conversation."I said smirking at her.

"Whateva, Now that I've tried your "spectacular" Iphone now you got to popeyes."She said getting a little excited.

"Ugh...Baby I don't know I mean I am a loyal Kf...."I started to say.

"Don't start with me today Mike you know this is the only reason I tried yo little IPhone because you said you would try my chicken." She said getting on top of me.

"I guess baby whe..."

"Now, I'm starving!"She said pecking me on the lips while putting on her boots.

"You betta get going before it's gets bad outside it's already snowing."She said while throwing my boots at me.

1 Hour later

"Okay i have to say this chicken is a little bit better than KFC."I said while taking a bite of my biscuit.

"Oh please you already on yo 4th piece."She said.

"Ok Ok it's way better than KFC."I said telling the truth.

"I know boo I just needed you to say it."She said smiling and kissing my cheek but I pulled her back into my embrace and let our lips interlock.

She let go.

"Mike we are in public."She whispered not trying to make a scene.

"I don't care you are mines and i'm letting everyone know."I said kissing her again.

"I know that I am yours but I do not like showing so much affection in public."She said trying to get away from me.

"Well your going to just have to get used to it when you are around me."I said back holding her tight.

When she looked down at her phone her face changed.

"We are going to be late!"She said while trying to get up.

"Late for what?"I said.

"To pick up Zeek from Daycare!"She reminded me.

Looking down at my phone seeing it was already 1:20 and Zeek gets out in 5 minutes.

"Come on baby you know how they get when parents are late especially Ms.Mayberry."She said while grabbing Zeek's food and getting into the truck.

"I know I know you just have to stay calm baby that's all we can do and I'm sure we will not be the only ones late."I said trying to calm her down.

1:40pm

Pulling up to the daycare there looked to be people still in the daycare alot actually.

"I wonder what's going on?"Zanobia asked.

"Hmm...I don't know but i'm sure we will find out."I said back taking her hand and walking into the daycare.

"Oh Hello Mr.Valentino and Ms.Palmer what are you two doing here?"Ms.Mayberry asked.

"Uhh...to pick up our son of course."Zanobia said in kind of a duhh tone but still sounding respectful.

"Oh his father didn't tell you he was picking him up?"She said and Zanobia's and my face face went from calm to confused in one second.

"What do mean his father?! Mike Valentino is his father!"Zanobia said starting to get loud.

"Well a man came by claiming that he was his father and Zeek even identified him."Ms.Mayberry said in a calm manner.

"You are not suppose to let my child go no where with no got damn body that is not on the emergency sheet that I his mother had to fill out and especially without calling or telling me what kind of establishment are you supposed to be running because it sure don't look like a damn daycare."Zanobia screamed in the lady's face while walking out.

I was so angry I didn't even bother to asked the lady what the man looked like before waking out trying to go after Zanobia.

I found her in the car just sitting and crying.

"What am I going to do Mike?!"She screamed.

"My Baby My baby is gone!"She hit the wheel of the car.

"Zanobia you have to calm down and listen we are going to find Zeek he is a strong little boy he is our little boy.

"We will find him!"I said holding her close to me.
